I called to place a delivery order on behalf of a family member who is without food at the moment due to unforeseen circumstances. Well, Michel was the person to answer. As I was placing my order with him I had to tell him I would have to call back because the address hadn't been sent yet by the person I was ordering for. I called right back and continued and then had to call back again because my card was not where I had left it. did that and asked if i could just switch the order to pick up, he had been talking with other employees in the back ground who apparently found this request funny and I could hear them in the background being rude and laughing while talking about me. We hung up and i needed the total so i knew how much money to give to the person getting the order and had to call and ask, he put his very rude manager on the phone because I asked if I could do a partial payment on card and the person getting it pay the rest with cash. He proceeds to rudely tell me no i would have to do both transactions in person so do I want the order or not, I again explain why I was asking it was my order etc the manager continues with I dont need your service assif he owns the store, and I decided to cancel. He and Michel were very rude and i simply was trying to feed family who needed the help. When i had to keep calling back i did apologies for it because i didnt have everything together but that's life and again it was for someone else. I no longer trust such ignorance in ordering with them and you never know who people know or whom follows them in this day and age, so you dont get my service or anyone else's I know. Learn get customer service, and how to handle customers in every situation. 0/10...
Read moreAs Myself and son attempt to place an order. After payment for order was completed Cashier (Paul) goes directly to the prep table to assist with preparing our order. Doing so we both observed Paul who did Not wash his hands or put on any gloves. Due to the terrible sicknesses that has taking place over the last few years due to transfer of germs I was unhappy about that. As My son and I watch from the counter Paul proceed to then Eat Pepperoni directly from the line while fixing my order. I alert one of his co workers that i no longer wanted my order and requested a refund. Paul then returned to the front of the store as he proceed to give my refund he stated it " It's not against the law to eat off his Line" . I am totally disgusted that Him being the store MANAGER would think that UNSANITIZED behavior is acceptable and if he is doing things like that with customers watching I can only image the nastiness that is going on when no one is watching. This at anytime should NEVER be ok when paying customer trust that their food is being handled in a professional, Clean, and most importantly SANITIZED...
Read moreWe have lived in the Five Forks area for nearly five years and have loved this restaurant ever since. We have eaten there at least twice a month, if not more -- so literally hundreds of times, and we have never once had to wait, and never once had an incorrect order. The owner is kind, he keeps great employees, and I have literally never once had a poor experience with this store.
The Hungry Howie's app is user-friendly, remembering your last order, and you can even see where your order is with the Howie Track feature. They also offer points towards free pizza. The deals are great! Can't beat a large 1-topping for less than $8 (at time of posting this). We can feed the family for well under $20. :)
We are a small family of five, but I have also fed my whole church of 200 through this restaurant at least twice -- again, great experiences. We are building a home in Pelzer and plan to move later this year -- I will not miss Woodruff Rd traffic at all, but we will ALL miss Hungry Howie's!!!! Thanks for being there when...
