I have finally learned my lesson with this place. EVERY SINGLE TIME (which is 3 times in the last year because this place usually has cars lined around the building, so I just keep going because I know it'll be hours if I actually wait- going inside for a to-go order isn't helpful because then I have to experience their chaos) they forget multiple items in my order; despite the fact that I have to wait 20 minutes after I order to ACTUALLY get my food. How hard is it to bag (3) $5.00 fill-ups without forgetting what goes in the box? Because it's actually in a box, it's hard to check them all with angry people behind me that has also been waiting 20 minutes. Additionally, the parking lot is a wreck waiting to happen because of all of the "drive-off" cars that just get tired of waiting. They serve 1 meat, chicken. It's not like they have to figure out how to actually get a hamburger, hotdog and some special order chicken sandwich in a bag... It's chicken! KFC is pricey enough if they didn't fail to put my sides in the box. I called the store once I got home and noticed that my kid's food was missing and half of mine- She asked, "Can you come back and get those tonight?" What??? No, and even if I could, I'm sure it would take forever to accomplish retrieving my food. While I don't expect KFC to deliver my missing food, an offer of "picking it up another day" would be nice. My advice to KFC is this: You know your going to continue to leave people's items off, you're not going to properly staff your store and apparently training employees isn't your thing either SO, establish a good reactive system (again, proactive isn't your thing) to make your customers less irritated. I would be livid if I was the owner of this store, watching my potential customers drive off before I got their money and the chance to rob them of something all while losing the customer's business of the ones I did serve/rob. Let me add, I never mind waiting a reasonable amount of time for fresh food, but while the chicken legs were hot, my chicken strips were cold and hard... Figure it out KFC, step up your customer service game- Even in my objective observation, more money is driving off than you are making BY FAR. You won't make that up 2 cookies and 1 Mac and cheese at a time. And frankly, people just won't deal with poor customer service these days. If something drastic doesn't change, this chain will fall so far behind, they'll close; maybe then a useful food chain can move right into that money pit. - OMG, as a now former customer, do you know how almost impossible it was to actually get a chicken pot pie? I guess everyone orders those because it is virtually impossible to leave something out of that, but I have faith if someone was going to screw that up, it'd be KFC. I gave it a generous 2 stars because the tea wasn't ruined this time, but I did have to prompt the CSR to get my 3 drinks... Ridiculous!!! I hope Bojangles across the street trains up their staff and takes the rest of what little business that...
Read moreHorrible franchise. I wouldn't recommend this location if it was the last restaurant open on the east coast. First time they served some burnt chicken that looked like it had been fried in used oil and the service wasn't the best. Contacted the corporate office and they said they would send me a voucher to replace the meal. Months went by and hadn't heard anything. Called a few days ago and found out that they "forgot" to send the voucher. They asked for a receipt that had been discarded over 2 month time period and I explained I didn't have it. The general manager said I would have to go to the restaurant and give my name to the manager Darrius for them to replace the entire family meal. Cool (so I thought). I get to the restaurant today to redeem my voucher for the meal replacement and they had an attitude and told me to pull up. Nice young guy brought out a bucket of chicken and I asked him where were the sides and biscuits that came with the meal. He said the people in the store told him to just give me the chicken. I told him the general manager said they'd replace the entire MEAL and not just the chicken. He said he would go in and get the items, but then a few minutes later this big guy came out and said they won't do the sides, only the chicken. I told him that's not what the corporate office said they would honor and I have a family at home that been working hard all day and waiting on a MEAL and not just chicken. I told him to keep the chicken and I'd just call the corporate office. When I called the corporate office, the lady confirmed where it was supposed to be a meal replacement, but said that they can just send a voucher for $30. The entire damn 16 piece family meal with 4 large sides cost $45! I asked if they can make it right at another location and they said no and that I would have to either go back to that location AGAIN or take the $30 voucher which doesn't even cover the cost of the meal. Talking about horrible customer service! I told her that was unacceptable as I would be left with a remaining balance. She said that she would have her manager call me back, but I have yet to hear anything back from anyone and this is beyond frustrating considering the fact that I had to drive out of my way 35+ miles to go to different KFC and pay out of pocket for a family meal. I as a whole wouldn't recommend this KFC to ANYONE for ANYTHING in the world. They should have been closed down this independent KFC store because their customer service sucks as well as their horrible...
Read moreThe food is garbage and Duncan South Carolina Highway 290. For 30 or 40 minute wait on biscuits the mashed potatoes is not seasoned or buttered and they say they can't give you any they refuse to do anything for you about it and the chicken is flat out horrible.its like they cooked a month ago. Brick hard or it's too hot season. The KFC bowls don't come with cheese anymore they never put it on there. Or two sides and they look like they put two teaspoons in a bowl but they want to charge you $9 for it. All KFC stores went downhill. 90% of them it's nothing but garbage. Of highly recommend going somewhere else. And of course it ain't just the stores all of them. $340 meal you don't get it all and they seem like you're trying to take something that you should already got. Oh did I forget to mention if they're out of it they replace it with something else that's garbage with no apologies and thanks to the okay to give you something less value oh and waiting time is just 100% garbage. You take the time to go there to eat and they treat their customers hardly. The KFC on Reidville Road or off of Regal Road going to Spartanburg should be permanently closed down well if that's the case the one in Duncan should be too. I cannot see how they can keep the door open two or three cars in the parking lot of course there's an employee vehicle and they wonder how come they don't make no money. And it's funny managers don't do Jack I don't know about the DMS but I think they should be fired and you do get raw chicken or have any problems with you food I recommend calling the Health Board. With enough complaints they'll close it down. Keeping the dining room close of people have to use their drive-thru. As you read the complaints I've noticed they don't give you a receipt as well that's because I don't want you to call and report their store and have evidence of where you ate at news flash my bank statement tells me where I ate at. But with a long way and the paper or box taste and potatoes I'll quit going thanks to spend my money somewhere else and get what I want. It's not the only restaurant that's open. KFC will never see another dime for me again. I'm not been in a minute but I can't see in Greer for the remodel was probably the best KFC in...
