Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

Server was great, food was great. When I went to leave, my vehicle was blocked in by a bread truck. No one was in the truck. Nothing was being loaded or unloaded from the truck. I went inside and I asked out loud to everyone that whoever the bread truck person, if they could please come move their truck because they had me blocked in. The cook, manager, or whoever responded with asking me where I was parked to which I stated where I was parked, they said that's employee parking and I'd have to wait for the vendor to get done doing what he's doing before he'd go move the vehicle. I said I'm not going to be held hostage, please move the truck. The manager cook or whoever proceeds to come out the back door once I've already walked back out and starts berating me about yelling inside their restaurant and that it's employee parking only to which I responded that it does not state employee parking anywhere and I didn't know if the bread truck person was inside eating. I didn't know that it was their vendor, nor does it matter. You shouldn't be following me out to my vehicle and yelling at me for wanting the bread truck to be moved from blocking me in. It should say employee only...

We had written off WH for awhile because the food quality slipped. Yeah, I know, you're saying..."but it's Waffle House!".

Honestly, for quick, decent food...it's difficult to beat WH.

We had just landed from our flight, but our luggage didn't -- and the delivery options for our bags weren't good --- so we needed to eat somewhere quick so we could get back to the airport.

We weren't in the mood for the burger or chicken joints we passed --- so we gave Waffle House another try --- and this time it was good.

We're simple folks when it comes to WH. We split a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and a small bowl of grits.

One would think it would be difficult to foul that up, but we had run into a string of badly prepared grits and gnarly sausage --- and hadn't visited a WH for close to two years.

This one did it right. The food was good, the service was good (Jason) and we spent the right amount of time in there to get back to the airport at just the right time.

We will slowly put WH back on our rotation --- but not too often yet --- we're...

This is 100% garbage how and would u stop to go orders by phone....oh wait u want us to come in and half to wait a hour or 2 for food and it's not like yall are busy all the time but instead of that they can just stand around and do thing but again I do see your point because they never answer the phone to get a order in...oh this is for all your waffle house's oh did almost forgot the prices have gone nutts..$6 for a waffle...and the last time I was the it was almost $20 bucks for 1 and the food sucked...and i know it should be a step up from McDonald's because they microwave there garbage but if you cant cook y work...u want cheese and get 1 cheese but charged for 2 and lightly cooked come back burnt how can u mess that up oh and it was a double and forgot the second patty so we going to tho it on...and yes I do understand McDonald's employees cant read or cook but that's y they got a microwave...but sssshhhhh I dont eat McDonald's by the way there food is 100%...
