Usually McDonald's is a fav đ spot to grab a quick bite 𫦠đ and go quicker, however, not only was the app not working for ordering through the phone, nor did they have the spots to pull up and wait till ya order is brought out to ya, but the employee nor the manager had a clue as how to enter the physical numbers from a virtual gift card, into the register in order to pay for my $11 order. đ¤đ¤ˇââď¸đ. Needless to say, my friend and I left with empty disappointed stomachs đŤ and no Mickey-D's answer except..."Umm..sorry, If the card doesn't scan, we don'thave a way to input the numbers"đ¤ˇââď¸. You'd think after selling fast food for more than 5 decades, a virtual visa gift card with all the information could be input into a register with NO problems! I mean...it's just the number of the card, the date it expires, 3 digit code, and zip of the card holder... If evidenceđ§ž was needed, that it was mine.. I had IDđď¸! I think tech has made McDonald's employees LAZY,𦥠especially at that store in Cane Bay, and probably hard of hearing too, because before I made the order, I asked the cashier if I could use a virtual visa cardđł and if he could punch in the numbers, before I made the order, simply because I didn't want to make him have to cancel it out again...this guy looked me dead in the eyesđ and said, "Sure, we can do that." Even after I showed him the virtual cardđł in the virtual walletđ...smh. Showed he wasn't using his listeningđđ¤ comprehensive skills either...đŞ Once the order was made he told me to "tap" my phone. I HAD AVISED PRIOR TO ALL OF THIS THAT THE NUMBERS NEEDED TO BE ENTERED, HIS REPLY WAS "NO PROBLEM." đ¤Śââď¸Now he goes to get the manager. ALSO, SOMETHING I WANTED TO AVOID HAVING TO DO BECAUSE IT DRAWS ATTENTION, UNNECESSARY. When I asked if I could use it on one of the 3 portals they had for taking orders when the store got extra busy, TO ENTER THE NUMBERS MYSELF, she (the manager) stated there was 'no way to do that if the virtual gift card doesn't scan...đ¤' Glad I didn't have starving kids or was pregnant and needed food...bc this McDonald's does Disappoint đđ˘đ IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT THAT WANTS TO EMBARASS YOU AND LEAVE YOU HANGRY IT'S A GREAT SPOT TO GO WITH VIRTUAL VISA'S.    Read moreOrder at drive thru and yes it was a large (roughly 68.00 ) order and yes they were busy for a Monday around 7pm. They fail to listen. I had to repeat several items and when I paid they didn't give me a receipt. I'll take some responsibility for not demanding I get a receipt, lesson learned. When I got to the pick up window they asked me what drinks I had and in the process of naming off my order another employee coming through the parking lot started shouting at the girl waiting on me and instead of letting me finish she shut the window. When she came back with 2 of my five drinks and I tried to tell her the others she acted like I was lying. She then told me to pull up to the next window. Finally she comes to hand me 4 drinks on a Carrier ( still not 5) and I pointed out that I didn't have my 2 happy meals. I had to open my car door to reach the drinks and this girl literally had her head down between her arms wasn't even trying to assist me with reaching and I wasn't that far away just a short car. Well the carrier bent in half and 2 of the drinks fell to the ground. When I finally made it home there were pickles on the burgers when I requested no pickle. The kids meals had apple slices when I ordered extra fries. I got 3 apple pies when I ordered 4. The fries were so salty Even the kids had trouble eating them. There was no ice in the tea and no apple juice in the toddlers Happy Meal. But the last straw was that they forgot the dang STRAWS!!!! We have been going here at least once every 2 weeks since they opened because we all work late and sometimes it's just easier because the kids need to eat and we always spend over 50.00 because we're ordering for 6 to 7 people and they always mess something up but this time was unreal.    Read moreI ordered food on 1026 at 5:39 PM. I ordered my food through the mobile app and picked it up through the drive-through. Both cashiers at window one and two were amazing and had great customer service. Your food prepare on the other hand, let customer service, professionalism, and respect of your customers. When ordering online, the classic big Mac pack does not allow you to customize your sandwiches separately. I put in for both of my sandwiches to be plain, but one of my children wanted everything on one of the big Mac. I communicated that with the cashier and she told me to let the young lady know at the pick up window what I needed. The cashier was amazing. She communicated to the people who are preparing the food. The lady who was preparing the food Dolores Deborah something yelled from the back why didnât she put this on her order. Very unprofessional very disrespectful. Iâm a general manager of a restaurant and I was trying to pick up food on my way home. If I could have made one of the sandwiches regular and the other sandwich plain I would have. I am very intelligent and I know how to work apps very well. You should definitely rethink her status with your company because if sheâs doing it to me thereâs no telling what other customers are getting that same treatment. A customer should not get chastise because they want something on the side or want to make a customization to their order. Customers are always first and I thought that McDonaldâs was better than that. I am very upset. I donât normally do reviews because I work in customer service and I know it can be hectic.
