NEVER go to this Moe’s unless you want to be scammed and gaslit. I ordered $278 catering online on 10/17 and cancelled it 23 minutes later by calling the restaurant (the only way to cancel). I was assured by an employee that they did. I called back the next morning to verify, and they assured me again that it was. I then saw the charge appear on my credit card statement a week or so later, so I called them. The manager was in a meeting, and I was told she’d call me back. I didn’t hear back, so I had to call again 6 times over the course of about 2 weeks, when I finally got even the name of the general manager, Karina Barajas, and her number. She then told me that there is no way to cancel orders at the restaurant... really? Because how else are they cancelled? And why was I told multiple times by the staff that it was? And why does Moe’s corporate policy say you’re able to do this? I cancelled before the 24-hour mark as well, and corporate policy states you may only face some fees if it’s within that time window. She basically gaslit me into accepting that there’s probably nothing the store can do to resolve this- she was also supposed to get back to me about it and she never did now 8 days later, after I have called the store back and emailed her twice more. I had also sent her the screenshots of all the calls I have made to the store, as requested. I heard from another Moe’s in the area that this location is known for being terrible, and they are correct. I have been to many stores, restaurants, and ordered catering many times, and I have truly never experienced as poor of customer service as this ANYWHERE. Believe the other horrible reviews- they’re horrible for a reason. I hope the Jennings/Jenten Group who owns this are out of business soon. It would be karma for their shady,...
Read moreToday we came in around 7:30pm like we always do on Sundays after a day at Carowinds. We order our usual bowls and we primarily eat here on Sundays because kids eat free, my son got the chicken quesadilla and my daughter got the kids rice she doesn’t get Anything in it because she has acid reflux and chokes easily on chicken/ meat etc. Mind you we’ve been here nearly 10+ more times to eat dinner. They’ve never EVER have had an issue not charging us for her “kids meal” (literally just rice) but tonight they Did. The manager mianca (idk if that’s how you spell her name) and was told that was her name, was VERY VERY VERY rude. She said because my daughter didn’t get MEAT in it is why it wasn’t considered a kids meal, INSANE!!!!!! But my friends who tagged along brought their son he got the same thing (kids rice bowl) but he added chicken to his and they rung it up as a kids burrito and he got it for free, mind you my daughter is 6 and their son is 13. I am Beyond livid, she doesn’t deserve to be a manager she had an attitude from the moment she started to assist the cashier. It’s unfair and makes no sense as to why my daughter with plain rice got charged but my friends son got rice with meat and his was free. I will likely not return nor will I recommend anyone else to this location or moes in general, me and my husband was so upset that we ended up barely eating our food, it was a very disappointing disgusting interaction with this certain manager and she seriously needs a...
Read moreI don’t even know where to start. I’m just gonna make some bullet points.
• screamed “welcome to moes” very loudly upon entering. Almost as if they were doing it out of spite.
• Ordered the beef nachos. Some girl had to shout 3-4 times for someone to grab them finally and then the person that grabbed them proceeded to throw/slide them down the line and some chips fell out of my basket and they did not replace what fell out
• Had to tell the lady 3 times I wanted beef on the nachos because I guess she kept forgetting.
• VERY VERY skimpy with all of the food
• Every employee looked completely clueless and one even had to look at something on the menu while ringing me up. You’d think they would be trained before opening for business.
• Fiance got a chicken club quesadilla . First person asked what she wanted on it. “Chicken” she had to say. Next person proceeded to roll it up like a burrito before we corrected her and kept asking what else she wanted , like they didn’t even know what comes on it as well as forgetting it goes on the grill.
• person ringing us up did not do it right. Charged us for each individual item instead of the “make it a meal” price. And I could sense the saltiness in her voice when we diddnt tip. I would have gladly tipped if the employees had their stuff together.
Just overall not a great experience. The manager needs to step in and teach these employees correct customer service and knowledge...
