I normally like Pizza Hut and I order often. I would first like to say I have been in customer service for 25+ years. Now I had been online (how I normally order) for around 30 mins trying to order and also use my points. The order would pick up the things I was paying for but not my items using the points. So I called explained that to the young lady. She asked someone and was told there was no way to change anything. So I told her I would continue to try online and I did another 20 mins. The order went through. I received my texts for tracking. I tracked and it did not have all my items. Only the items that I was paying for. I called again. I explained to another young lady and was told there was nothing she could do. I told her I wanted to cancel the order. The thing that I didn't get was if I am telling you my points have been taken. I have the online receipt and I paid almost $26 for the items I did order. Why couldn't you just apologize and make something happen. The points were used so it was free anyway. Read more12/10/22 - Update, not a great pizza this time. I ordered a stuffed crust pizza & 12 wings. I called & specifically requested the pizza be lightly baked. I regularly do this because I like to reheat it through the week & when it is cooked too long, it gets hard & gross by the 2nd serving. Well, my pizza was burnt! Even more well done than an average cooked pizza. The crust was super hard & it was literally difficult to chew even while it was fresh. Which means that my leftovers are now no good. I paid $45 for a Pizza Hut order that should have fed me all week & because I got a bad pizza, it was hardly even enjoyable for the one day. I'm more disappointed than usual, the large pizza would have been easy dinner during some Christmas chaos, when I don't have time to cook. Even if they did replace it, it's a 50 minute car ride there & back. More time than I don't really have & nobody delivers to my house. -‐-----------------------------------‐----‐-------- Long ago... Last week we tried to call and place an order-calls are routed to a call center, you don't have an option to speak with the store directly. Spent 30 mins trying to order from some woman with a thick like Pakistani or Indian accent, she could not understand me after spelling my order out multiple times. Gave up and cancelled the order. Tonight we tried to order using the Pizza Hut app. Everything went fine, then ten minutes later the store calls and says they aren't taking deliveries or carryout anymore. I placed the order over 30 mins before they closed...it went through on the app. Since when does a store close before their posted hours? I am giving up trying to get pizza hut & will use domino's instead. Also, I have to wait 3 days for a refund??? This is awful customer...
