3.14.2024 Update with regards to the store owner's reply: I am a healthy and happy person. Your comment is passive aggressive. It was not a mix-up. The protein powder is the actual name of the smoothie that I ordered. Do not concern yourself with my healthy diet. I have every right to choose what I put into my body. I simply wanted what I ordered. If your store did use the ingredients, I should have been told. There were four containers of Vanilla Lean 1 sitting on your shelf. I will contact the corporate office to handle this matter. You are in need of more training. I need protein to maintain muscle. I prefer delicious protein powders, not the cheaper chalky tasting ones.
3.9.2024 Store was clean. Employees were polite. Drive thru was busy. The young lady took my order for a Lean 1 smoothie. Unfortunately, the young man who returned from outside blended the wrong protein powder in my smoothie. It was well blended. I can always taste the difference when the wrong protein powder is used. Employees need to be aware that customers pay a lot of money for those smoothies. I follow a strict diet. Any anomaly compromises my protein intake. Read moreWent to this location once and it was unsanitary. That was a year ago. Tried to come back again this past week and once again their smoothie made me sick. Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and try to get a different smoothie re-made today, only to be met with a debative confrontational argument with the cashier and the manager in regards to my previous purchase. I understand businesses are only in business for profit, but it's December 24th 2022 and its 14 degrees outside. Besides battling the sickness their smoothie caused I was forced to battle their lack of communication, their lack of decent customer service, and their lack of basic empathy when it comes to replacing a $13 smoothie. I have reported this location to the local DHEC, if this location makes you sick, nauseous, or feeling ill, please don't hesitate to report this business to the local Department of Health. If these businesses cannot have decent products and customer service for our community we need to do our best to shut it down and replace it. Read moreBeen coming here since June 2022 most of the time it was a good experience and quick transaction. As of the last month service and experience has went downhill fast! Sunday afternoon the young woman taking my order tried to argue with me as to what and how I ordered an item on the posted menu when I asked for it the same way it was written. I asked for the immune booster with mushrooms and vit d as stated on the sign. Now all the other competent cashiers have been superb and just added the Immune booster I ask for and that is that. She tried arguing with me several times and refused to remake and admit she was wrong and I had to request a refund on my order. I have have attached my order I always get. The high turnover lately is sad, the drive-thru is hard to get service at as nobody wants to answer it and when it us open on time it's a miracle. Edit: I have sent in an email. It is a luxury not a requirement to buy here at Smoothie King and that one must remember when keeping customers happy.
