Delicious Pasteleria — Restaurant in South Carolina

When people say authentic they are not kidding this is as authentic as it gets. For very good very authentic home cooked Mexican food then this has got to be one of the best little local places around the Spartanburg Greenville area!! A must try and one visit will turn into many because very few places can compare for the food. Don’t let the appearance or location of this authentic mom and pop Mexican restaurant fool you. I found it on the Yelp app. It was across the street from the Tru Hotel by Hilton where we had stopped for the evening while traveling. The food was amazing! My wife and I had a variety of tacos and they were delicious. They may have been the best street tacos I have ever had. The staff was very friendly and the prices were very reasonable. Bakery and Mexican eats. We got tacos de asada and tacos de al pastor. As for pastor meat ... was sweet and ok, but not to our liking. Not bad but not great. Maybe for this area, it is OK if you are craving it. I felt the tacos were a little skimpy, not full by any means. You can get fuller tacos for $2.50 elsewhere with 2 tortillas per taco.
