The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in South Carolina

Ok so I had just left an enduring day at work, so bae said " Let's go to Honey Bake Ham"!! ( Two Notch Rd. location) I had tried them once before catered by my employer...Anyway we arrived 15 minutes before close and the pretty lady with the short cut and blonde highlights was so nice , she quickly prepared our sandwiches, wished us well and sent us on our way!! Now we are in the parking lot getting ready to leave, but we can't wait till we leave or get home to eat, so we ravish the sandwiches on spot!! Listen I LOVE food, and when I tell you , the turkey and ham were sliced into perfect portions, the right amount of sauce and mayo, delicious fresh bacon, fresh wheat bread, cheese, lettuce and tomato, simple but DELICIOUS!!!! I was able to save my half of my sandwich for dinner, and what really impressed me is that, hours later...the bread was not soggy and the tomato was still firm and fresh!!! We had a GREAT experience !! Thank you!...

I have always enjoyed the signature Honey Baked Ham and as usual my husband got one from his employer for Thanksgiving. Since we had to take Thanksgiving dinner to my in-laws I thought it would make things easier to order the sides from HBH. A huge disappointment! Their sides are frozen prepackaged boxes like you would get in the freezer case at the grocery store and size was quite small. So I threw them in my freezer and braved the supermarket crowds to buy groceries and cooked my own side dishes! Finally I did try the smashed potatoes with a regular dinner but was glad I didn’t serve it on Thanksgiving! The price is also way too high for the average quality of the food. Also the line was out the door and it was a madhouse trying to pick up my order. Fortunately I had ordered and paid ahead of time but if it wasn’t so hectic I probably would have asked...

This is not a "restaurant," it's a take-out only place. Excellent staff with good hustle. The menu doesn't really help a walk-in customer figure out price per pound if you're not getting a dinner-sized ham, and there seems to be some line confusion when a customer orders on the app, but eventually you get through the line fairly quickly. I came just a few days before Christmas and they had plenty of hams in stock. I got one pound of sliced ham for about $15. They have some great looking sides and cakes as well. I would definitely recommend if you're putting together a special...
