How this place is so highly reviewed is beyond me. We placed an order for breakfast around 10am, went to the restaurant by 10:45. I attempted to notify the restaurant that I was there for pickup via the app. The app promptly made my order disappear. I went inside to speak to the employees about my order, thinking it may be a mix up. The lady at the counter didnāt even listen when she initially asked me what I needed help with, I repeated myself twice just for her to turn to a shift lead and making me repeat myself for the 3rd time. Shift lead tells me that there is no breakfast after 10:30am. Okay, assuming they just threw the food away at 10:30 on the dot? Not sure. I return to my car and reorder from the lunch menu. The same employee who didnāt even bother to listen to my issue in the beginning was the employee that brought my 2nd order, she did not speak to me, just handed me the bags through the window and walked away. Amazing customer service. Upon receiving my food, I check it. Of course Iām missing items, I go inside and speak to a new employee about my missing items, she turns around and walks away(to get my missing items? Not sure, she didnāt say anything once I explained my 2nd issue in one trip) another employee standing by the counter looks baffled and apologized for the missing items told me that they would handle it. At least someone cares? The employee brings me my items and I leave the restaurant. All of the food that I ordered from the lunch menu THAT JUST STARTED, was poor at best. Fried chicken was soggy dripping grease into the bun, fries were luke warm, asked for extra pickles on one sandwich (the only add on in the whole order) they put 13 pickles on one sandwich. ??? So soggy greasy pickle juice buns before the food could even be consumed. I am a high tier Chick-fil-A rewards member, I have dined at probably 20+ Chick-fil-A restaurants across the east coast, I have never had employees be dismissive or not try their best to handle an issue and at least admit there was a mistake. I didnāt expect free food or my money back or anything, I expected them to do the job they were paid for. A local told me this Chick-fil-A was less than desirable due to the employees but I didnāt head the warning, now Iāve wasted $40 on food that was borderline inedible. Thanks for your time, management needs to step up or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have never in my life been to a bad Chick-fil-A. Service is always great and people are always enjoying serving others. However. Jerry at the main st. Location in Duncan is on another level odlf hospitality. I spoke with him briefly after watching and listening to him serve others throughout the dining room as I ate my meal. I can't even put into words, the hospitality and grace and love he puts into his job and each and every person he encounters. He makes it a point to speak to everyone. He doesn't just say hello once, he welcomes you in, checks on you during, and thanks you on your way out. He INSISTED on serving you before you could even serve yourself. Countless times in the short time I enjoyed my meal, he got refills without people having to get up. He took trays and trashed peoples plates so they didn't have to. He insisted they leave their tray on the table so he could get it. Even if you had your tray half way to the trash can, he would insist on handling it the rest of the way. He would make sure everyone was happy, kids were enjoying themselves and mom or dad had it as easy as possible. He would pray over a few including myself and our business. I told him that his hospitality was unmatched. And if more people were like him, then the world would be a better place. He held the door open no matter if you were coming or going. And always said "it was a blessing to serve you". There's so much more but if you get the opportunity to come by the Duncan CFA, and you get to meet Jerry, you'll almost want to make the drive to eat here over a closer franchise just because of his humongous positive attitude. Never have I ever seen someone serve the way that man does. Keep it up Jerry. It was a pleasure...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will NEVER go to Chick-fil-A again....I hadn't gone much in recent years, COVID really repaved the way I eat out...so while I appreciate that they are probably successful with this approach among their regulars ...the whole drive thru confrontation continues to baffle and astound me. And as of today, it is why I'll never enjoy Chick-fil-A ever again. I explained to their associate, who approached my car four car lengths before I had reached the menu board, that I had no idea what I would like as I wasn't even sure what they offered anymore. She stated that that was "ok". So I explained that I needed to see a menu. She stood there still waiting for my name. I explained again that I'd need to see a menu, and that I was getting a panic attack sitting there, her waiting for my name, me waiting for a menu ... Then I asked, so should I just leave or? And she says "yes". Only, I Couldn't leave as I was trapped in traffic all trying to get their precious chicken sandwiches. When I finally managed to back all the way out of the Mobile Only line ...I went in to speak with the manager who just sort of stared at me as I explained, even showing her a picture of the rack of menus I noted when waiting to get out of the drive thru. I swear, post COVID everything is bad..but this is unacceptable. At least McDonald's has the decency to just lie and tell me the ice cream machine is broken....Chick-fil-A will sit there and make you feel like the problems are Your fault. -5/10, will Never give them my...
