A truly terrific gem; great food, prices, and service. Review based on two dining experiences to ensure we experienced what this restaurant has to offer. Baffled as to why some have rated this restaurant as less than ideal. First visit was on a Friday at 6 pm, we almost left upon entering the parking lot… it was packed and the parking lot is huge. We ordered an appetizer, con todo. It came out quickly and it was extremely satisfying. Good flavors and good portions for the price point. For entrees we got two different fajitas, altos and the seafood fajita (don’t recall name of the dish). For the amount of food, both fajitas were amazing price wise; both were around 20 but I’d be happy paying 30 for either. Amazing flavors, the seafood one is a home run. Super great. Best part was that they tasted completely different and the taste difference wasn’t just due to the protein. Highly recommend the seafood fajita, a true gem. Highlight was that all the food came out hot and fast, a feat we didn’t expect with the extremely full parking lot. Second visit was on a Friday, around 130pm. We ordered flautas, supreme enchiladas, fried chimichangas, and pollo yucatan. All the food came out hot and fast. No complaints about the food, it was all great. Biggest favorite, for us, was the chimichangas. On both visits we truly enjoyed the chips and dip. The white dip is really good. The salsa is obviously homemade and is really great, fresh and refreshing. I’m a fan of stupid hot stuff and the house made hot salsa is amazing, it is more than just hot; it is extremely flavorful. Request it for sure if you like habanero or hotter, it won’t disappoint. If jalapeños are as hot as you like, you probably won’t enjoy it due to the heat it brings. On a side note, I left my credit card at the restaurant. Two employees came out right away to let me know of my error, I unfortunately failed to realize they were looking for me. Came back a few hours later once I realized, quickly got my card back and of course, no extra charges were made to my card. Great restaurant, probably the best Mexican restaurant I’ve eaten at after traveling through a majority of the US.

Rocas is one of my go-to spots when I’m craving Mexican food, and the quality never disappoints. The chips, like in the picture, are always fresh, crispy, and served warm, making them the perfect start to any meal. Their beef enchiladas and refried beans are the bomb: full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and consistently satisfying. The only hiccup I’ve experienced is that in the two times I’ve been to Rocas, my order hasn’t been quite right at first. That said, the staff is always quick to fix it once I let them know, and they do so with a friendly attitude. It’s clear they care about making things right, which keeps the experience positive even when mistakes happen. Overall, Rocas is worth coming back to again and again. The food is flavorful and well-prepared, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the service, while not perfect, is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you leave happy. For me, that makes it easy to overlook the occasional mix-up and enjoy the delicious meal that follows.

Updated: Dec. 27th, 2022: Phenomenal! Great food, service and restaurant/business. Visit the area twice yearly on travels and when feeling Mexican food, one of my favorites, we always drive to Rocas as theyve never let us down. It is a beautiful location with not your typical Mexican restaurant vibe/decor but the food is wonderful, well presented and great variety and hot and fresh. Our server this time, Grant, was good; attentive and above and beyond, would recommend him! The restaurant was very clean, organized and open with plenty of dining space available as well as a large parking lot for customers as it is located near the shopping mall/center surrounded by everything and anything. Great place and highly recommend!

Will not go here again. Ordered the tacos de asada . On the menu AND online it said the meal was $11.75. All that was on the tacos was a meager amount is steak . Nothing else . The tacos did come with a side of rice and beans . I ordered it being it was only $11.75 which would be all the meal, as minimal as it was , was worth . Fast forward to the bill , the total seems high for what was ordered . I look at the item breakdown and it says I was charged $13.75 for my meal. Mind you , this is completely different from what the provided menu and the online ordering menu say . I immediately ask the waitress and she rolls her eyes and states “ well they must have changed the price but not updated the menu . That is the price it is.” I do not argue with her and simply give her my card . The register is directly behind the booth my friend and I are sitting in when , as she is ringing out the bill, begins to talk about the situation and how it is ridiculous I question a difference on the bill to one of the other servers . This is a matter of a $2 difference not a 10 cent difference that I would have left alone . Never have I had such a bad experience in my life . Food was also overly salty with no other...

You would never know from the outside or walking in here that this was once a TGI Friday's. The remodeling job has to be the finest that I've ever seen. The interior is impeccable and they've done a wonderful job with it.

The dining matches the design as well. The plates are artistic and make the ever colorful meals ever the more appealing.

The food itself is better and more unique than any other Mexican restaurant in the area.

I saw that they brought back the Pollo Yucanito. This is a tasty dish of a thin chicken breast covered in a spicy salsa verde accompanied with rice, beans and tortillas. It is delicious.

So with all these great attributes what's the one thing that stands out even more to me? The price. The dish I just described was $16.99. And as good as it is that's way over-priced for me for what I just described.

I know times are hard and food costs are high but as much as I like the food for me the prices are something I cannot justify for myself.

I highly recommend this restaurant. It has many great things going for it but the cost has risen to the point that for me it is no longer an...
