I wish I could give this store negative stars. I've had the worst 3 days trying to get pizza from this Dominos.
On Sunday night I ordered pizza. I received a text that said it was in the oven and would be ready in 8-10 minutes. I head to the store. In the app, I try to click that I've arrived but it said my pizza is still cooking. I'm parked in front of the store. I call and they said that my order was cancelled because they ran out of dough! They never called, texted, emailed- or even walked outside to tell me. They just let me sit there. I called when I got home to make sure they would refund me and give me my order for free the next night (to credit my account). The guy I spoke with said he did.
On Monday night I called and the lady in charge was nice- but had no record of my credit. She said she'd make my pizza for free. So, I arrive at 6. She tells me my pizza went in and should be ready in 10 minutes. So, I wait 10 minutes and call back. She sees my call and comes out. She tells me they ran out of dough! Seriously- again! She promises me that she'll credit my account and apologizes. She was the nicest part of this sad story (even though she didn't actually credit my account).
On Tuesday night I call to order pizza and ask for the lady I spoke with the day before. She wasn't there. The guy I spoke with immediately had an attitude with me and thought I was lying. He was about to say that he'd only charge me half- but then said he'd give it to me for free. I asked him if they would run out of dough and he hung up on me. He actually hung up on me. I genuinely wanted to make sure they weren't going to run out of dough because they HAD the LAST TWO NIGHTS! He told me before he hung up that my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. I got off the phone at 5:30. I drive to the pizza place and check on my pizza. I call and they say it should be ready soon. Bottom line- I picked up my pizza at 6:22! 52 minutes later- and it wasn't super hot. I can't say for certain- but I think they went out of their way to go slow and then not pass out my pizza right away. Multiple other people were in and out while I waited.
I never wanted any of this. All I wanted was to oder a pizza, pay for it, and eat it happily. Why was I subjected to this? And why did the workers this final night have to treat me so poorly? Are there any actual adults at this store who know what's going on and care at all about the store? I've been to the store 3 nights in a row and it seems like the answer is a resounding NO! Please do no eat here if you want pizza- they might be...
Read moreClearly staff think they are there for the fun of hanging out. They are not equipped to deal with incidentals. Did my order online, called in afterward to make changes and kept being put on hold. After FOURTH time on hold, I was finally able to get staff to stay on phone long enough to see what I wanted. Then the phone was passed around to different managers. How many managers are needed in the store at one time? Certainly none of them seemed trained or prepared to address my concerns. Between the three (3) people i spoke with, I was told that it was 20-30 people in store and they had done a $2000 hour (attempting to show me how busy they were). So I went up to the store. NO ONE was there. (I live two minutes away and was later told by one of their many managers that they had a $600 hour evidently down from the fabricated $2k quote for same hour.) Then while I was there, the phone did not ring once. When I commented on that I was told that most orders are made online. So why was I on hold for a combined time of twenty minutes? Why couldn't anyone come back to the phone? There were six (6) people working in the store and I had to get out of bed where I was recovering from the flu because the staff was too busy "hanging out" and not being truthful to take care of me. And I had to tell them to take off the delivery fee! I dont want to spend my money to be treated like I don't matter. Not one person apologized. There are too many other pizza shops in the Cedar Center area to patronize that have time to take care of their customers' needs. Next time I will go to one of them. I suggest that you do too. Too bad, because I love that...
Read moreDifferent Dominos, same incompetence. I understand the Covid-19 precautions for customers, but why aren't the employees following suit? Maybe 2 people wore masked and nobody wore plastic gloves..I means Covid or no covid, gloves should be worn when dealing with food. But that's not the issue.
I ordered online to pick up from this Warrensville rd location. I used my Dominos points for a free medium pizza (+2.00 for the premium chicken) So yes, I am a loyal customer. Online tracker shows my pizza would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived at 30 minuter later, and my pizza wasn't even made. I asked about it, and was told it'll be ready in 10 minutes. After ten minutes, my pizza wasn't ready so I decided to cancel my order.
2 hours later, I received a call from Dominos saying my pizza was ready for pick up. I told the lady on the phone, I cancelled my order over an hour ago, and she was rude and hung up. (Thinking i get a refund or a pizza at a future time). Nothing. 3 days later, I called to speak with the manager and was told, my refund for $2 takes 3 days to return to my account and my points online he cant do anything about this. I called 4 days later, after no refund was given, and another manager said to me, "You just gotta wait". What kind of service is this? All I wanted was a medium BBQ chicken pizza...yet I'm treated like I'm a crook. I ALREADY PAID FOR THE PIZZA.
I think when it comes to Dominos pizza, it's a hit or miss experience. Some days are good, some are...
