McDonald's — Restaurant in South Gate

Scroll down further for food details. ⬇ My experience with this McDonald's personally is rather extensive as I've gone to this place ever since I was a little kid and quite a bit has changed ever since then and I've seen it all happen. When I was a little kid the play area this place had was extremely large it took up half the restaurant but they did have seats a good amount of seats inside the area so seating wasn't much ot an issue and the play area went up, down, had a green and yellow slide, and enough tubes to make you feel like a hamster whenever you went into it and I guess that's probably why I was fine with going back to this McDonald's when I was little, because I thought it was fun. As to what made them get rid of it is a mystery to me but it happened and I remember one day when I went there they had a little sign saying no one was allowed to enter and little by little they took it all down and they tore down some of the walls as well and now the play area is only 1/4 of the size that it used to be and it now but I guess none of that really matters to you since you're coming here to eat not to play but I figured it was something interesting to keep in mind if you're coming with kids. However they also changed the rest of the layout and improved on it immensely; the chairs are nicer; they put in tv's and overall it just looks a lot better than how it used to look when I came to this McDonald's as a little kid but this is just my experience with this place. The food here is ok it's nothing groundbreaking and it's certainly not 5 stars I mean it's McDonald's what do you expect but for the cheep price it's fine for what it is. If you want to go somewhere with your family that's ok too the service has been good every time I go here and the changes made to this McDonald's have made to this McDonald's I think have made it better as a result and frankly if you're in the area and are looking for a quick and inexpensive bite to eat this this place should be just what you're looking for but that's...

This Mcd is pretty good, except for the some problems with the McD App. I have problems with Apnea and other cognitive problems from a stroke some years away. For the New Year, I decided to do the App for drive thru and on inside. Sadly, I did a sizable order for home party, did all set up before getting to the store, but went through drive thru, but despite the # from the App says the, location, etc, the order taker found nothing of the code numbe, my name, nothing. She asked a "Code Number" but the code from them didn't make change, the order taker said "Refresh the Screen", and other unknown suggestions. In the meantime, my order information, the total, and the charge and total tax, set. The woman says just reenter it, which it took me 20 mins to enter in my car on a quiet street the first time. I started to try to repeating it but was impossible between my stress, the order taker getting impatient, the now long-line behind started some honks from hungry people. I told her I will go around to go in, although my walker was home by my car spot. Well, i went around and at the first drive thru and showed maybe they could copy my list from my phone while getting the inside. But the second person said the order looked familiar and she went to 2nd door and they had it, charges, money etc everything. Said the first window. So everyone was glad food, despite cooled food and half melted drinks! Adventures...

This is the first Mc Donald's that I've experienced that is actually running business the way it should be done!👍Kiosk or app. orders were being delivered to the tables by Angelica the friendly staff member who provides you with all the condiments you may need. Not all Mc D's do that! Even though they promote customers to place orders at the Kiosks they don't follow through with delivering your order to the table when dining in or with delivering your order to your vehicle while you wait at the assigned mobile order parking spaces outside! Smh 😡 The lines at this restaurant are long at drive thru & also indoors, but as I sat here for a while not once have I seen a staff member not doing something. They were all moving fast to get their orders out promptly! 👐 My food & coffee were perfect, nice & hot!! +++ The dine in area tables, floors, restrooms & trash cans were constantly cleaned & checked by Amparo a sweet staff member as well. I would really like to commend the managers, cooks & all the restaurant #10574 staff for working together as a team & doing such a great job in executing their duties to provide customers an excellent service...
