NO MAGIC BURGER WAS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Reading all the reviews I was really looking forward to the mom and pop burger joint.... This was not it. From ordering I was greeted really rude even after acknowledging their reviews and my first time being there, feeling rushed to order and feeling like I was asking him to do the most about a question of the menu. Shrug it off cause everybody has bad days. Next i see that the patties thrown on the flat top frozen, still I stayed hopefully. Next thing was seeing the rude gentleman came from.the counter to help prepare food (without gloves and without sanitation). Finally get home to eat and let me say... OVER PRICED AND WAYYYYY OVER HYPED! Definitely wouldve rather had spent my money on whataburger. Burger tasted bland with no flavor of the seasoning(if any) my daughters chicken strips were even more bland, the breading had more flavor. French fries were mediocre at best. Don't let these reviews fool you. I spent the next day thinking how I could've spent my money...
Read moreThis burger place is a fair value for the price.
I ordered the "Magic Cheeseburger" from the menu. This order comes with the burger, a drink, and a small side of mix fries and onion rings. All for around $8 charging ¢35 for refills. The burger consists of meat, cheese, tomato, pickles, lettuce, onions, bacon, and Jalapeno's. The meat by itself is flavorless and rubbery in texture. The bacon came out of a plastic bag that had precooked bacon above the grill, and was not very fresh. The lettuce was mostly core. The jalapenos were dry. The bread was fiesta brand bread. None of the cooks were wearing hair nets but were wearing hats.
While I was there there were enough orders for me to see that this place was popular. I can see that this is a special place for the community, however I cannot say that these burgers were anything above satisfactory. If this restaurant had a grade it would be a seventy (i.e. barely passable). I will not be back. No magic to...
Read moreThis is a nice "hole in the wall" burger joint they serve shrimp too, they have a nice menu selection, we had a couple burgers and fries, the reason I'm only giving 4 stars is the prices and above all else if you dine in you have to pay for drink refills, now I'm not talking about some specialty drink or something that's not a normal free refill item, nope talking about your every day straight out of the fountain soda, I mean seriously I have never been anywhere that you have to pay for refills, the food prices were a little high as well, we had 2 burgers fries and 2 drinks and paid almost $20 the sad part is that wasnt the normal menu price it was the special of the day price, all in all I might eat here again, but definitely wont be a...
