Our first experience was at the Grand opening today & I have very mixed feelings about this location. We were prepared to wait in line a while but when we walked toward the door, no employees that were outside helping prepare the event could provide clear information about the plan. We saw others try to get involved but go back to their cars, unsure of how to proceed as well. We waited until 15 minutes before Go Time & went in to ask where we should line up. The employee clearly wasn't sure but directed us to the front of the building & once we got in line, a few other families immediately got in line, too. Gabe, who I believe is a Salt Lake operational manager, was incredible! He directed us to coolers full of drinks & actually made efforts to connect with customers. All the press releases said the store would give out $25 gift cards but they turned out to be $15 gift cards-still a freebie so that's cool, although unexpected. The store did offer everybody a slice of pizza & you could spin a wheel to try for random prizes like cups & T-shirts. The guy who seemed to be in charge for the event (Don, I believe) seemed to care more about his kids' middle school friends than about potential long-term customers & was unable to clearly communicate what to expect & seemed annoyed with us. We waited a bit & then put in an order of a variety of things to try. Most employees were nice & the food was decent. I'm sure it's overwhelming to do a grand opening so I want to believe some of the glitches were just from that. It's too early to tell for sure but this is what our first experience...
Read moreThis was the worst experience ever trying to order pizza! The website wouldn't accept a delivery order and kept changing it to carryout so I had to call the store. After speaking with the automated AI system, I was finally connected to a real person. She informed me that the location wasn't taking delivery orders on her system , but transferred me to someone in the store to take my order. The employee at the store told me I couldnt get the $9.99 offer I was trying to order online because it's a "National promotion" and they only honor local promotions. I asked for the District Manager's phone number to voice my concern rather than doing it here, but the manager on duty said they can't give that out. I finally gave up after 30 minutes online and on the phone. Kudos to the Marco's Pizza down the street for the delicious pizzas and great service. I highly...
Read moreTerrible. I placed an online order to this location like I have in the past. I then got an alert that my order has been cancelled. When I called the store to see why, the store manager told me that his store was outside my delivery area. I told him that I've ordered from this store before and the pizza locater directed me to this store. He then told me his drivers don't get paid enough to deliver to my area. This Domino's is only one and a half miles from my house. I tip $5 to $7 each time they've delivered. I don't know what kind of tip they are looking for, but tip culture is getting out of hand. I've worked tipping jobs and never felt entitled to someone else's money. I was grateful for every tip I got. At some point you have to take accountability for not making enough money and go to...
