You know I hate to even have to come here, but I want everyone to know how this restaurant treats people! Yesterday I was in with my boyfriend who is from Puerto Rico so he obviously knows how to speak and understand Spanish, well unfortunately he told me when we got home or else I would of not tipped and asked for a refund maybe even threw my food at the employee, but anyway, the workers disrespected him in Spanish as if he couldn’t understand. I’m not very happy and it’s sad because I love the food but after that little stunt I’m here writing this to warn other Spanish speaking people and I will be telling everyone to go somewhere else instead of here! I paid for his food because he will do the same for me when I don’t have it, and the employees had the nerve to make a sly remark saying “why don’t you pay for the food” in Spanish! He also said some other things in Spanish but my boyfriend wouldn’t tell me.
I’m not happy and honestly no one should give this trash ass place business, especially with how disgusting their walls were, wanna talk crap in Spanish why don’t you clean your damn restaurant before I report you to the BBB!

Read moreThe short gentleman who claimed he was in charge of the place was extremely rude and unprofessional with me when I simply questioned why his staff had me stand around and wait 15 minutes when they knew they didn't have the order I checked in. This was after giving the name on three separate occasions for an Uber eats order to the staff and then I questioned(politely)why I was being asked a fourth time in a 15-minute span when I simply could have just been told the order was not in the system and the issue would have been resolved much faster. Continues to yell at me in front of customers when I told him I was not upset(said "I don't care if you're mad or not doesn't matter to me" in a very condescending and confrontational tone) was just simply asking a question and how things could be resolved better next time. I even said several times if you would like to take the order from my phone I will be happy to wait and still continued to give me a nasty attitude and it was really hard for me to stay professional and polite being antagonized by the little man who claimed to be the manager. Read moreI just wanted to revisit this review I left 2 years ago so I could acknowledge how great these guys are, how they make my husband and feel like old friends. Baja's in Wakefield has been a place we've been able to rely on for great food and warm friendly service from the day they opened here. While there are some new faces, there are those we recognize the moment we walk in and greeted with smiles. When they aren't as busy we strike up wonderful conversations and express our appreciation for their hard work and consistent quality of delicious food. And we are appreciated for our support and loyalty as customers. We hope Baja's is here with us for a long time and our old (and new) friends working hard behind the counter.
