Went through drive up one night. Went to order double bacon cheese burgers. To be told no bacon and none of that kind of cheese. Tried to order salad, baked potatoes, frosty's. Just to be told after asking for each one. That they were also out of all that as well! Then finally I asked about a chicken sandwich and was told it came with mayo, lettuce, tomato. I asked if the chicken had any pepper on it at all. The girl said no but I asked if she could make sure as I was allergic to even black pepper. A minute later she came back saying manager told her definitely not. So I get 2 if those and 2 of the double bacon cheese burgers. Without the bacon. And with a different kind of cheese of the couple choices I was given. And then some French fries. After getting back with the food. Fries were so freaking old and nasty the dog wouldn't even eat them. Boyfriend said the cheese burgers were not only cold after driving only a couple blocks. But tasted funny. But wondered if it was because of no bacon and different cheese. But barley only choked down one of them. I went to eat a chicken sandwich to find a plain chicken patty between 2 plain and completely empty dry buns. I opened the other chicken sandwich it too was plain. So don't know what happened to the mayo, lettuce, tomato I was told came on them went. The worse part about 20 minutes after we started to eat. I realized I was in trouble! As I knew the signs and symptoms of my allergy to pepper. Boyfriend ended up having to take me to the ER where I ended up in the hospital for 4 days! Early the next morning. boyfriend ended up getting sick as a dog with food poisoning lasting all weekend. This all ticks me off so bad! I am mad about it all but what really upsets me the most. Is that I asked about the pepper. Explained it was cause of a serious allergy and double checked with manager. This should have never happened! If they did not know or was not certain then they should have told me that! And to me that sure says a lot about how much they really care about their customers. I will never eat at that Wendy's again! And I will tell everyone I know what happened there so hopefully they won't continue to go...
Read moreEvery time I come to this location the 2 (dyed) red haired ladies are treating customers like they're stupid for asking questions or treating doordashers like they're thieves for no reason. I'm a dasher. I'm sure they remember me. They treated me like I was going to steal food and run (not sure if it was because i'm mexican). I know food workers have to be careful because some dashers do steal. But all I asked was if I can leave some there and come back for the rest because it was a lot of food. They got offended like I asked for their first born child. Then I started walking off with the second order. I heard yelling behind me but I thought it wasn't for me until they freaked out and yelled STOP because THEY forgot to put the other half of the order in the bag then they started lecturing me like I'm an idiot because they forgot something. Telling me I need to be more patient even though one of them told me the order was ready to take before they threw their tantrums. I tried explaining I was patient I just didn't hear and they said "you're not patient enough". It's not the first time they've acted like this but it will be the last because I refuse to go back there. I don't care if it affects my status on doordash. And guess what. I would never steal food from a place as unsanitary as them. There was flies everywhere, every surface was sticky (don't know how they managed to get the walls sticky) and I can't even eat the crap they try to serve. I cant eat gluten, fried food, dairy, or red meat. So instead of assuming and being defensive with every action calm down and don't take it out of people that actually want the fly infested...
Read moreOrdered a baked potato today and informed them of a gluten allergy (which would basically just necessitate a glove change). The girl taking the order tells me "we don't talk about that." I said "talk about what? What do you mean?" She responds that they aren't allowed to talk about allergies. I responded that I'm not asking whether the potato has gluten or not, I'm just asking them to follow an allergy protocol. She proceeded to repeat that they don't talk about allergies. I asked "do you not have an allergy protocol?" She said no we won't do that. I responded that I still wanted the potato because the risk is minimal. I then get to the window to get the order and she informs me they're suddenly out of potatoes. I asked them if they were really out or if they just didn't want to give it to me because of the allergy request and they were scared. She said they were really out. I suspected she was lying. I then talk to my husband about it and he goes down there to see if they will serve him a baked potato right after we left. As we suspected, they lied to us. He confronted them on this and they basically had nothing to say about it and didn't care. No apology for the dishonesty or rude treatment. I had been told Wendy's was pretty good about gluten free and I guess I expected to at least be treated like a human. Received the potato....
