Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in South Pasadena

I tried scooters for the first time, was anticipating it opening since the build and I gotta say I’m pretty disappointed. Stopped by on my way to work in my Uber, Drive thru only, which is fine, although I don’t have a car, I am not above walking up to that drive thru window next time lol I ordered an iced cold brew with sweet foam, added sugar and it tasted very artificial. I’ll keep an open mind and maybe try another kind of coffee, but with the authentic coffee competition in the area like gateway subs Arabic drip coffee, azucar Cuban coffee and craft cafe all in walking distance I doubt I’ll waste my time or money returning to do so. As far as food goes, I ordered the bacon egg and cheese burrito and it literally tasted like the frozen burritos you get in the grocery store and throw in a microwave. I’m not kidding. The mixture inside was like a minced concoction of bacon egg and cheese that was throw in a blender, looked and tasted like vomit. I wish I was exaggerating. But the service was quick (maybe a little too quick..) and friendly! Now I’m not asking for a Gordon Ramsey level breakfast with a drive thru chain establishment, but it’s pretty bad when I’d much rather get a breakfast burrito from...

The customer service at this location is terrible. We ordered our drinks and waited about 15 minutes to get them. Then they told us to pull forward and park because our order was not complete. When they brought our drinks to the parking spot, they were short one that we ordered. We mentioned it to the server and said we still needed one drink. He said “well, I didn’t charge you for that.” I said “well we ordered it now. One person in our car is short a drink.” He then said, “well you can get back in line and we can, get you that drink.” We asked, “can you bring it to us here? We will pay for it . he said no you need to get back in line. The line was like seven cars long. Instead of corrected the problem, he looked at us like we were the problem. He was the one that messed up our order and would not correct it. This is absolutely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location as their service...

Okay well, this is my fourth time at a Scooter's coffee specifically this location. I typically only give a place three trees

The last three times including this one they don't have the product available that I am asking for. In this case a chocolate muffin. Every time I've been here they don't have the chocolate muffin and or the sandwich I'm looking for.

However let me say this the product whether it is food or coffee is very good.

However because of the lack of product each time I've been here I will not be returning as there are many other places to choose from. There is no way that a company like this should be out of product as many times as they are.

Maybe you all will have much better luck than I did. Again the product tastes very good if they have it in stock.
