I came here for a Yelp event a few months ago and could NOT stop thinking about the bubble tea. 🧋 It was my son’s birthday today and he was hoping to try something new, so I took him here. It’s located in the Ocean Mart, so it’s a really fun place to walk around and check things while you enjoy your drink.

To start, the customer service is fantastic! The two people that have been there when I have gone are so genuine and friendly. They walked me through the different ways to order the drinks and recommended a couple of GREAT choices for us. My son got the Oreo one and I got the traditional. They were both SO good! The boba is fresh and warm, while the milk is cold. It has a sweetness to it but it’s not overbearing like other drinks. It has seriously climbed to the top of my favorite drinks list.

While we were there, the owner made us the most DELICIOUS egg waffle. 🧇 The outside has a very slight crunch that gives way to a soft and warm center. Cute small shop, definitely wanted to try some drinks near the nail salon I was at. I went in for a Brown Sugar Pearl Latte & a Taro milk tea (unfortunately didn’t get a picture). Both came with boba, great sweet flavor. The Brown Sugar Latte was good. I felt like it needed it to be a bit sweeter for my taste. Overall it would’ve been 10/10. The Taro Milk tea was a no go, the gentleman that took my order told me that this was the actual taro. As in, the taro wasn’t premade it was the powder itself with the milk. It wasn’t a hit, why because it wasn’t mixed well. Got chunks of powder as we took a sip. We tried mixing it well but it wasn’t just messy at this point that the straw was inserted. I was verbally assaulted by the younger manger because I ordered a tea with half boba even though I had no problem paying full price. The boba is too sweet and only wanted half as much in my drink. For over two years I’d get the drink the way I wanted it. Then this manager who I’ve never seen before insists that I never did get a drink with half boba. Umm excuse me.. don’t you think I would have known since I ordered the drink?! It’s one thing to say, ‘I’m sorry it’s our store policy that we can’t make accommodations’ but you lose a loyal customer quickly by verbally assaulting them by aggressively saying ‘don’t ask for half boba again’.
