Second Summit is awesome! I wish we had somewhere like this in our town. This was a highlight of our entire trip.

Details: Second Summit was awesome! Everyone was kind, communicated very well, and made us feel very welcome.

We came here a couple times while in town, and had a wonderful experience. We loved popping in for early lunch one day, and hanging out for art / music night another night (live music and create-a-gratitude jar).

The menu has lunch and other flatbread / later night options. Everything we had was so tasty. (I cannot stress this enough - the food was really good. More like a delicious cafe’ than a cidery).

The cider was a pleasant surprise. We do not typically drink cider, but both loved the selections here and really enjoyed it. The options are different than any other cidery we have visited. They had dry ciders, herbal, hopped, and so many more. We really liked the ginger sumac and the Heritage.

Our visit was joyful. Everyone on staff was welcoming, kind, and knowledgable. All the bread options we had were amazing and sourced fresh from a local bakery.

So many good vibes. We came here for date night after skiing, and loved it. There was a guy playing guitar and singing, and a cool art project (painting our own “gratitude jars”). The food and cider were excellent.

The only thing second about Second Summit is the name! This place should be #1 on your list of places to hangout in Utah! If you miss the fun times you had at recess in elementary school; this is the “stay and play” destination for you! Start off getting refreshed with their delicious and unique selection of ciders. Or get sudsy with their sweet assortment of brews and beers. Even if you want to be a buzz-free bee they have the perfect mocktail to rock your socks off. Hungry? They have bites that will delight! And you’ll always win with their food truck friends that stop by. So, your thirst is quenched and belly full. Let’s go play! Summit has an epic outdoor patio that includes several next-level pickleball courts. So much outdoor seating with games and fun and friendly faces at every turn. The scene at this place is so warm and inviting; you will constantly have a smile on your face. The staff here is hands down the best in the business!!! The matriarch of mirth is Vicki; she welcomes you in like it’s her home. Joe the Dynamo will set you up with the best drinks and his wonderful world insight. Alex; his name almost spells relax. He will get you heading to Chill-ville in no time. And of course there is the charming and sparkling cosmic blast Kasey; she’s like hanging with an old friend. What a great gang! This staff is so hardworking and attentive, and yet, still so warm, fun, and inviting. It’s like sitting around the holiday table. And everyday is a holiday here! With live music, trivia, bingo, plant projects, and a calendar events just keeps unraveling! Oh, oh oh, Second Summit is nestled in a fantastic location with plenty of parking. Second Summit Hard Cider Company is one of the most unique and genuinely fun spots in Millcreek—and maybe all of Utah. The space itself is incredible: a huge, welcoming facility with four indoor pickleball courts, a ton of other games to keep you entertained, and a relaxed, energetic vibe that makes you want to stay awhile.

Their drink selection is impressive. The beers are solid, but the real standout is the hard cider. They’ve managed to offer several on draft that are over 5% ABV—which is incredibly rare in Utah—and they taste fantastic. Crisp, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care.

The food menu holds its own, too. I ordered the pesto grilled cheese with bacon and it completely exceeded expectations. Perfectly toasted, packed with flavor, and served with a bag of kettle chips, which somehow made it even better. It’s the kind of simple meal that’s done so well, you think about it later.

On top of all that, the mountain views from the facility are stunning. The whole place feels alive—in the best way. The crowd is friendly, the staff is warm, and Vicki, one of the owners, goes out of her way to make people feel welcome. It’s obvious she cares about building something meaningful here.

They’ve also packed their calendar with events like live music, karaoke, and charity bingo nights. It’s not just a place to drink—it’s a place to gather, have fun, and feel part of a community.
