I've been coming here for many years, I like their chicken a lot, their carne asada is very good when they make tacos, not very good for burritos though. They serve the carne asada cold in the burritos and it's awful. They've also slipped a lot with the quality of their tortillas, both flour, corn, and especially their chips. All used to be very very good quality, but not any more. They used to make the very best chips, now they're among the worst. Their burrito tortillas used to also be the very best, with the black markings on them-almost resembling pita bread, now they use a different type that are pure white, not nearly as good. The corn tortillas are also not as good, very dry and hard. I wish that wouldn't cut corners and lower their quality. I would much rather see them bring back the original style that made El Faro great and charge more if they must rather than lower quality to save on expenses. I miss the original El Faro when I was a kid, this place is still very good but not as good as it was.
