Luigi's Sandwich Palace — Restaurant in South San Francisco

I have been to Luigis on more than one occasion. However, the service today was unusually terrible. The man who was working the grill and the Spanish lady were extremely rude. Instead of taking my order, yhey repeatedly wanted to tell me how many orders they had ahead of me even though I repeatedly told them that I didn't mind the wait (20-25 minutes). She they did the ultimate "No-No" of encouraging me over and over to buy a Sandwich even after I told her over and over that I had a sandwich earlier today and yesterday and I did not want one. It was like she was refusing to take my order. The onky reason that I even gave it 2 stars was because the man that works the cash register is always nice to me and has a great attitude. He even offered to take my order but by that time I felt upset, frustrated, and disrespected. Will I go back? Probably, I like their food. But, I still wont look at the service the same...

Awesome place to get a sandwich. I switch between an Italian sub and a turkey, avocado, cheese. During lunch it gets pretty busy so I suggest coming earlier than 12 or closer to 1. Sandwiches and wraps come with a choice of potato or macaroni salad.

The hot food is good too. Sometimes when the sandwich line is too long I just go with the hot food. The owners are really nice too!!

They have parking right outside and if you can't find a spot, there's tons of street...

omg...i'm writting this while i' m enjoying this delicious plate fish n chips with onionrings instead of fries,,,finally found onion rings ,, i" ve looked all over and no one ever sells them...my co- worker at sfo avisbudget treat me lunch, and she surprised me, she knew how much o loooove O.R...😋from now on i' m ordering food fro Luigi..great prices...very fresh and better...
