Impressive Thai spot!
Park City has a new Thai restaurant and I am all about it! It took 45 minutes to get there and I would totally do so again for EXCELLENT thai food! I'm a huge fan of thai food and my favorite spot has been in SLC for years. This is a very close contender to becoming my top favorite thai spot in Utah.
I'm a huge curry fan and their red and yellow curry was absolutely delicious. The dishes that really blew me away were the dumplings in green curry and pad thai. I usually do not order pad thai at all, I tend to gravitate towards drunken noodles, but the pad thai here had an excellent sauce accompanying it. Their Taste of Thai salmon dish was also a huge hit!
The dishes are beautifully presented and so tasty. I love the care that goes into the presentation. You have to save room for dessert of course because their mango sticky rice is a big winner. Thin slices of mango are arranged as a heart, and I am seriously impressed by their slicing skills!
The interior is very charming, they even have a wall on the side that is a work in progress by a local artist. It'll be awesome to see the finished product!
Highly recommend checking this spot out in Park City, this an excellent lunch and dinner spot for locals and tourists alike! Do yourself a favor and order the dumplings in green curry -...
Read moreIf there was a sixth star available, I would give it. Having recently moved from Portland, OR, I was leery about a Thai restaurant in the mountains. But I’ll say without reservation that the Taste of Thai in Park City is the real deal. It has great, attentive service, a clean and comfortable atmosphere, and food that looks and tastes amazing! Taste of Thai beats any of the trendy Thai food restaurants and food trucks that I frequented in Portland, and that is saying something!
The well balanced menu is full of classic Thai tastes that gives great selection without being too large and cumbersome. (I cringe when a restaurant has a 6 page front and back menu.) It is reasonably priced for the portion size and quality, and they offer four different levels of spice, ranging from mild to Thai hot!
Whether you are in need for a quick lunch spot or an elegant, intimate dinner with friends, Taste of Thai has got you covered. Oh, and if you want really really good service, ask for Moodang, she’ll take good care of you.

Read moreWow! Such a pleasant find this afternoon! We happened upon this place as we were looking to celebrate birthdays & Father's Day this weekend. Many restaurants in the area had closed up by 3:00 pm, but Taste of Thai's "OPEN" light was still on so we took a chance. So glad we did! This was some of the best Thai food we have ever had, plus they brought out a piece of delicious "crepe-layer" cake for the twin's birthday, which was so nice of them. Our group enjoyed several dishes: Tom Kha Gai, Som Tum, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Fried Rice, Massaman curry, plus two desserts -- mango w/ sticky rice & Roti w/ ice cream. It was ALL very fresh & super tasty!! But above all that, our waitress (also the owner), Dow, was absolutely delightful! We LOVED her & will definitely return next time we are up in the Kimball Junction/Park City area. Thanks...
