11Hauz Authentic Jamaican Food — Restaurant in South Snyderville Basin

I am only giving one star because my dish was okay, went wanting one thing and they already served their last portion. Keep in mind they open at 3 and we were there before 4. Beef Pattie’s were very good and probably the only thing priced right. 150.00 later and my friend was deathly sick, no concern to help us get out of there I was waiting to pay the over priced bill which I knew was wrong but my friend was sick and I wanted out of there. The lady keep telling me she must have already been sick cause it came on so fast, we had been in PC all day and she was fine. While eating she got hit with hot flashes and stomach cramping and lost it outside the door. It then took them over 15 mins to get me a check and pay so I could take care of my friend. I will never go back and putting reviews everywhere. I have had much better and didn’t have to wait 30 mins for our food plus get super sick! Jamaica food is cooked in large portion and served up fast. Stay blessed but don’t eat here! Try the food truck in SLC, never have ate there but I have a feeling you will be better served, better food, and better prices. And yes I still tipped because I have manners but shouldn’t have to pay for the plate that made my friend sick and they should have been attentive to...

Over a year later, and so so many visits, I can unequivocally say that 11th Hauz is my GO TO Kimball Junction restaurant for reasonably priced exceptional and unique food in Park City.

I've traveled to so many places and when I see "Jamaican" - I test the veggie Pattie. Let me say, NO WHERE has come close to the flavor of the 11th Hauz patty! Maybe it's the secret sauce - that tamarind sauce that is made by Sheron? Truly, I think it is the LOVE that you feel when you come here.

Rasta pasta vegan style is my other favorite - but you can add chicken, shrimp, or tofu.

Service is exceptional. Warm greetings, quick seatings. Every dish is made to order, so although you might have to wait for your order to be PERSONALLY COOKED by Errol or Sheron, it is worth the wait! Grab a Jamaican beer, and pretend you are on island time. After all, dinners should not be rushed!

Tasty food without the PC prices!

Make sure 11 Hauz is on your go to list. Vegetarian and vegan dishes. A MUST: Rasta Pasta. Add chicken, tofu, shrimp.

Oh, I wish they were open on Sunday! I can so use a little bit of Jamaican love today. Next time, I'll order a bunch of veggie patties to go. Frozen. So I can eat them...

I hate to give this place a great review, because I don't want it to get over run with people! But in fairness to them, given how many bad over-priced noisy restaurants there are in PC, I have to say it was the best dining experience I have had in a LONG time, anywhere. Ambiance ... warm and delightful. Service, caring and quick but not in your face, and let you linger. Friendly ... we chatted with Sunny, whose mother is the chef, about some history. Oh, and the food. OMG the food. We had jerk wings that were to die for, and a cucumber tomato salad that could have been just fine, but instead was so refreshing and a perfect complement to the heat of the wings. Big plates were definitely that ... I had goat curry that melted like butter, and my husband had chicken curry, also excellent. Sweet plantains were perfect. I saw dish after dish go to other tables that I have to order some time. Add a Red Stripe, and you have a most amazing meal. It's like family ... we ended up talking to the people at the next table. In the winter, wear a sweater ... But the warmth is there from the food, the owners and the clientele. A comfortable place to eat delicious food at great value. Definitely a...
