Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in South Strabane Township

Restaurant was very busy. my friends had to stand in line for a long, long time, while I was keeping a table occupied, so that they could sit when the order of 3 pretzels, 2 coffee and 1 coke was placed. At last the pretzels were ready, and brought to me including my coke. The pretzel was soft: Pretzel was not baked properly, therefore the dough was runny in the middle, taste was like you eat soap because of the use of too much bicarbonate of soda (rising agent), and was really horrible. I live close to Germany and enjoy their pretzels, and they are much better then Auntie Anne's are. In comparison on a scale from 1 to 10 Auntie Anne's score is 1 and the German score 100 (and that is NOT a typo). They should not be allowed to sell this junk. Coke tasted like chlorine, which means that either the water purifying did not work properly, or was not installed, or the ice was of an inferior quality. Even the pre packed pretzels in supermarkets taste a lot better. All in all more a disaster than a visit which is to remembered. I dumped the remainder (more then 80% of it ) where it belongs: in the trash bag, and so did my friends. The only positive thing of our visit was 2 cups of fresh coffee, because the can was empty when my friends decided to have coffee. On a scale of 1 to 10 Auntie Anne's ...

Mask police are very rude!! I simply pulled my mask out away from my mouth to talk to my daughter about what to order and the cashier sternly said in a loud voice "can you put your mask on?" No need to embarass a paying customer!! We left without ordering to say the least. This is America not a dictatorship!!! Management needs to teach their employees to have some tact when dealing with paying...
