The food was so good. I ordered th chicken katsu curry and shrimp gyoza. The red curry was perfect with just the right amount of spice to give it a little kick. The chicken katsu was the best I've ever tasted. It was one of the few places I've been that cooked it to a perfect point ( done, but still perfectly juicy). The gyoza came served on a small bed of lettuce with dumpling sauce and curry sauce. I am more of a dumpling sauce person, but it was nice to have the extra red curry to go with my rice. The portions were great. The service was great. The resturant was clean inside. I am excited for when they expand the menu (a gentlemanworking informed me they plan to expand the menu eventually), but for now the small menu seems to be working very well. Some newly opened resturants are so unpolished at first open and that is NOT the case here. I will definitely be back to try other things...

This is a nice fresh, clean restaurant, that is decorated uniquely, great place to hang out and the customer service was great but I did not like the food at all! I got some curry noodles that had fake processed "fish cakes" on top and a weird taste to the whole dish that I can't describe and it was not good. I tried to eat as much as I could not to waste it but I couldn't and that's saying a lot if I have to waste food, lol. I tried to give another chance and order the broccoli and tempura shrimp. The shrimp was decent but I got breaded fried broccoli balls with lettuce on the bottom. Who wants that? Who thought that was a good idea?? This coming from somebody who likes broccoli! I'm all for trying new, different and ethnic foods but these is not it! I wanted to try this place for a while but I won't be coming back unless I only order a drink. They really need to get some...

Very warm and welcoming environment. We just went in to cool off and get a nice snack. Tried the Thai Tea slushie, Thai Iced Coffee, matcha cheesecake, and tiramisu! No complaints about anything at all! The Thai Shlushie and Coffee were absolutely amazing and refreshing while not being too sweet! The matcha cheesecake was very rich and not super sweet like I originally expected. I've never had anything quite like it before! The tiramisu was also very rich and high quality. We have no complaints and can't wait to go back and try their entree's! I didn't get pictures but they also have beautiful decor inside the restaurant. The staff that served us were very kind and ready to teach us about their menu options so, don't be scared to ask questions if you're trying something new! They're all very nice; go support their business and give...

This is Southern Pines best kept Ramen secret. Every single aspect of this restaurant is top-notch. The decor is stylish, warm and happy. There are so many seating options, including couches, comfy chairs, tables, etc. The staff is absolutely phenomenal and so helpful every time I come in. I’ve ordered the duck Ramen, the pork Katsu ramen and Thai-iced tea. That duck Ramen with the curry base and a Thai iced tea is a meal that I dream about. 🧑‍🍳 💋 This is the most flavorful delicious ramen I have ever had and the Thai iced tea is phenomenal as well. I will return again and again and I hope that you’ll give it a try so that this restaurant continues to be open for a while yet, you deserve this Ramen. It is so good.

Ramen, Katsu, fried Tofu, udons and more—this Asian restaurant stands out in downtown Southern Pines, offering a range of Asian comfort food that tastes wonderful. We got the Chicken Katsu curry with noodles, and the portion sizes were more than enough for one person. The Chicken Katsu could use some more flavor but they went well with the miso broth. They’ve other snack items such as seaweed chips that you can purchase as well. The seating area inside is reasonably big to accommodate the busy hours. The staff is polite and helpful. Restrooms are available inside as well. Overall, Busaba Cafe was a wonderful experience while visiting Southern Pines. I highly recommend it.
