Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Southfield

Tonight I’m second in line patiently waiting to order. Two workers behind the counter. After they finish making the sandwich for the guy in front me I am asked what I’d like to have. I say the caprese salami sandwich: the new one that is plastered all over their menu board and windows. They say they don’t make it anymore. Confused, I ask again to clarify and they say again they don’t make it anymore. They laugh and say something like “I’m joking”. The two Jimmy John’s employees and the guy in front of me are all laughing at me. Frustrated and confused, I say never mind and walk out. At the door she calls “come back, I’m joking”. Why would I eat at a restaurant that wants to bully and make fun of me? What are they going to do to my food as a joke? This really happened. I’m not lying. Came here for lunch with my co workers yesterday and it was a terrible experience. The manager was super rude and has no self awareness. She was working the register when I walked up and she was counting money and never even acknowledged me until a minute later. Not even a “one second sir,” just ignored me. I left a tip and after I paid she never even said anything just walked off.. One of my co workers had like no turkey on his turkey tom so he went to ask for more and she said “you gotta pay” for more. Not “I’m sorry sir we will fix that for you.” Just terrible management skills. Last thing was we were laughing and having fun and one employee said “can you guys keep it down, my head hurts.” We were the only ones in the store. We will never be going back. Earlier today I placed an online order for this location and figured I would walk to pick up my lunch as I work at another business in this plaza. When I walked over to get my order they had a sign on the door that said “drive thru orders only”. A worker saw me peering through the window while she was exiting to get lunch of her own. When I told her my situation and asked if I could quickly grab my order, she stated that I would need to get back in my car and go through the drive thru to pick up my order. I had to physically get in my car and wait in line for 20 minutes just to pick up a sandwich. When I finally pulled up to the window the worker gave me my sandwich and low and behold when I finally get a chance to eat, my order was completely wrong. So ridiculous. Steer clear of...
