Fable — Restaurant in Southington

When I first walked into this store I felt like a place within my dreams came to life. The atmosphere is magical and peaceful. Surrounded by lore and nature your soul flickers around every corner. If you listen closely you can hear the secrets of the lives lived amidst the antiques found here.

The owners are warm and welcome you into their sharing space - a space meant for discovering and creativity; where your heart can come alive. The tea and coffee served is an experience to be savored and shared with those you love.

I'm looking forward to watching their community grow and hope to partake in some of their workshops and game nights. Our family lives 30 minutes away but the journey there is well worth it and all a part of the entire experience.

I can not express how wonderful this place is. Every staff member is friendly and the owner is very accommodating. I had gone to the sip&read and fell in love with the place.

We had a group of us all come in and Tina was so friendly. We weren't able to give her a head count but she still made it work.

The snacks they have are small but good, especially if you're only grabbing 1 drink. The drinks are diverse. I really love that the mocktails don't feel like mocktails, and it's not just a glass of soda.

At 6 PM, Fable turns into Underworld: which is really unique and fun, almost like a speak easy!

Please specify the age more clearly!! For the after hours that is. The atmosphere is amazing and the employees are nice, and though I understand the age minimum it was not easy to find this information on website or even at the location itself. Even my coworkers who i was meeting with were unsure but said I should come anyways and see what the case was, because many breweries/lounges in CT allow underage or 18+ with adult guardian 21+ but they are very clear if that is the case or otherwise. I am lucky we had a backup plan or else I would not be able to see them after work and would have to go home! I just hope this helps if anyone has the same question...
