From singing cooks, to its hand-painted menu on the wall this location screams home. I’m from Tucson a city known for its gastronomy even earning its title from UNESCO as the best 23 miles of Mexican food. This makes me a bit of a picky eater. Taco Shop’s handmade flour and corn tortillas are prepared behind the scenes and filled with amazing flavorful meats such as pastor, barbacoa and beef carne asada. For an authentic take on your order, choose your tacos “con todo”, a dash of both salsas and a glass bottle of bubbly Mexican coca-cola.🤌 Great customer service.

Make sure to visit earlier in the day if you want Al Pastor. I came in for dinner at around 4 and it was all gone 🙁 so I opted for carne asada and it was a great choice! I'm an entry level Mexican food enjoyer, so I'm not familiar with a lot of the dish names/other things that go in tacos. I was not sure what to order, but the man who prepared my tacos was super patient. There was also this orange spicy sauce available to use and it tastes really good! 👍 My accomplice also got a carne asada quesadilla and she would also recommend.

This little shop is dishing out some of my favorite tacos in the Grapevine-Southlake area. The al pastor off the spit grill, homemade tortillas (both corn and flour), and traditional charro beans make for an authentic taste I haven’t found anywhere else. The al pastor meat (pictured) is phenomenal. The flavor was amazing and so tender, I couldn’t get enough. I’ve also had the nopal (cactus) tacos and those were good too. The service at the walk up counter is great and it’s always super clean on the inside.

I've been telling everyone about this place and sneaking over here for my lunch break almost every day since I found it. I don't care if I get fat, these are the best tacos I've had in my life.

Fresh tortillas made on the spot, the meat is fresh and juicy and generously served.

I've tried the barbacoa and carne asada tacos and the meat is so good you almost hate to put any sauce on it.

The corn and flour tortillas are both amazing, I didn't realize anybody made tortillas this good.

Fast and cheerful service - Today the manager ran back and made me a fresh tortilla himself when they ran out

Try it at least once so you can say you've...

This place is legit! I came here with my family and we all loved it. The inside is clean and well organized. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We got one breakfast taco on flour, three Barbacoa tacos on corn, 1 al pastor on corn, and one potato/ egg/ bean and cheese burrito. Both kinds of tortillas are homemade and taste delicious. I got to say I’m really picky about Mexican food around here, but the barbacoa and Al Pastor was very authentic. I was very impressed. We also got some of their strawberry Agua Fresca. Don’t sleep on that. It’s really good.

All said, and done. This is the best taco shop I have had in...

I had tacos from this place and OMG! Let me tell you, I am not an asada person, but this is day 2 since I tried these tacos and I already have to have another batch of these tacos.

I live about an hr away from this place but I will still have to drive all the way to Southlake. The tortillas are freshly made. The asada is perfectly seasoned. The pastor is very flavorful and tender. The salsas... let me not get started about the salsa!

This have been the only tacos I have had that do not need the lime, cilantro, or salsa. You can literally eat the tortilla with just the meat, nothing else is needed by...
