Such a nice campus and kind people of all ages and walks of life. Good Pastor with good sermons. The praise and worship team was a relatable bunch. The weren't all glamor and putting on a show, but truly LEADING and Praising with the congregation!! When the congregation can identify with thr leaders of worship, theres less distraction and more comfort and focus on what is most important! Praising God!
Update: Upon a recent attendance i had to add to this. During Praise and Worship I was halted because my p&w was interrupted by a performance. As a Christian im torn as to publicly say anything but I'm not calling out an individual, tho it may seem so, I'm raising a question as to the mission of those who "Lead" p&w. As a former P&W leader and a lifelong entertainer, it was important that I wasn't entertaining and bringing unnecessary attention to myself. P&W is to the lord. About the Lord, not me. The female lead had fantastic vocals and could or might be a professional, but changing the phrasing and over/out singing the congregation isn't leading to me. It threw us all off in the 2 or 3 songs the leader sang. I didnt go to see a concert but to raise my voice, especially in unison withe the congregation, in Praise for our Creator. We couldn't follow the leader doing their own thing. Then another, younger women prolonged mine and most of the congregation's P&W by singing a song in Spanish. I have no issue with Spanish or any language speaking people. Race and culturely different then me, i haven't an issue. All are welcome in the Kingdom. But it's an english speaking campus and a huge stop (disruption) to change languages in the unision process of building up and pressing into the spirit. So to be accurate i lowered my rating to 4 stars. I hate to do that. And maybe this is an isolated event or im beimg judgmental and forcing my perspective upon you. Still, I feel just in this..... Now once again, the message of Abraham and Sara and their transgressions was a great sermon by Pastor Robert.. I still left with the spirit and message stirring inside me. Just wish the P&W had been more productive and fulfilling. Maybe that's...
Read moreWe attended for several years here. I loved volunteering there and the volunteer leaders were super nice. I love serving people. The problem I have is how this church has turned more into a business. They are all about people, but not all about Jesus and the real ministry that’s needed. Once you’re a member, you’re easily forgotten. If you’re in need, you’d think the one place you could go to is your church family. This is not a church family. If you ask for financial help, they’re controlling and you will pay back the taxes from their “help” if you’re an employee there. They’ll take it out of your paycheck. I went for their 911 emergency marriage help. The ones who prayed for us were so nice. Made you feel like you’d really get some help. No one checked on us. I reached out a few times before someone talked to me. Set me up with one of their women leaders who went through a similar situation. I met her at a coffee shop. When I walked in, she took a moment to look me up and down a few times with a look of, “you’re not in style” on her face. She barely looked at me while I was telling her my story…IN TEARS. All she did was people looked the entire time. And while in the middle of my story, she just started talking to someone next to her. I felt humiliated. Hurt. And that was one of the starting points to my distrust in the church. We have finally found an actual family like church. It’s amazing how much they care about ALL of the members. Not just the higher ups or the ones that “fit in”. They’re not a business. It’s the body of Christ we have been hungry for. So thankful. I have since healed from my issues within Gateway. I still forgive every time I have an ill feeling about Gateway or when I see/read things about Gateway. There are many more sad stories about Gateway I could share, but I won’t. My entire family has had bad experiences within Gateway church. I pray that leadership will repent and become all about Jesus and His ministry someday. I normally wouldn’t review a church, but this is more of a business than the church body Christ has...

This is a very wonderful church of believers. It has very strong Bible teaching. Pastor Robert Morris teaches from the Bible and uses many scriptures to support his teachings every week. His style of giving messages is that he uses a lot of humor. And he even pokes fun at himself. Most church members and attendees find him very endearing because of this. He does not back down from the full truth of the Gospel.
The church has many many ministry opportunities all year long all year around that you can choose to take part in if you wish. The church holds women's conferences and women's events on the campuses multiple times each year. The church also has men's conferences and events throughout the year.
The church has a fantastic children's ministry every single Saturday and Sunday , allowing you to attend the church services while your children are taught the Bible in a separate room. Students are taught the Bible also. They have conferences and retreats during the year and they also have weekly services geared especially toward students.
The facilities are very very clean and are up to date and are current. The auditorium holds approximately 4,400 attendees. The sound and light system is state of the art and they also provide live streaming online for people that are unable to attend in person.
They have greeters at every single door to welcome you as you come in and as you go out. The parking lots are big and spacious and are well organized.
If you go there, you will not be...
