Taco Bell — Restaurant in Southport

Just got back from here, went to get some tacos for the family. I ordered a party pack of soft tacos, quesadilla, nachos bell grande, burrito, and a 2 piece chicken dinner. I normally go through drive thru but this time I went inside. There was only two customers in dining room and one of the workers sitting at a table on computer. Every table in the restaurant was dirty and sticky, the drink area was disgusting the man who rang us up wore a mask but yet never washed his hands after handling money he would wipe his face and then turn around and make food. He had to bel told by another man who I think was coming in bc his drive thru order was wrong to wash his hands. The place also had an odor inside. Not sure what but could be sewage. After waiting for almost 40 min my order was finally ready smashed all together in one bag that ripped by the time I got it inside my home. Everything I ordered tasted old and cold and looked like it had already been eaten and then shoved back in the tortilla. I will never ever come back here and I don't recommend any one else coming here if they don't want to get sick and ripped off. Almost 60.00 worth of uneatable food. ...

Update: July 20th, 2025. I don't know how long ago, but they renovated the interior. Now they have an open space near the counter with several monitors to order the food. I ordered six items (burritos, chalupas, tacos) and I had to wait at least 15 minutes for the order. I am not complaining, just putting the time here so you know. Obviously, this could vary depending on the amount of orders they have at the moment, and if they are short staffed. The food was packaged poorly. Two of the hard-shell taco became apart, spilling their content inside the big paper bag. The food was good though. Overall, I believe this place is a little better than before.

Old Review: I went recently around 8 pm and the place was not as clean as you would expect even for that time of the day. The food was good. There was a lot of noise going on. The employees communicating loudly between themselves regarding details on orders, etc. I guess overall you could only go to the drive through and avoid all of the above and just...

This taco bell is the closest to where I live and I have gone too many times always giving it more chances. More often than not we don't receive all of our items. If we do they're either skimpy, missing their special sauce, or on one occasion had a metal ball from the nacho cheese machine in it... In addition to these things today I tried to order online, except I found this one isn't registered for online orders, which contributes to the line wrapping around the building during lunch and dinner times. My husband ordered through the drive thru today they literally threw the chips in dumped all over the place and ever told him that they had thrown them in... no sauce on my cheesy gordita crunch and it tasted really weird... specifically the bread part. I have worked in fast food and understand that from time to time there can be mishaps. But I have literally gone time and time again and each time had horrible service all...
