I had Wonton Soup, Lemonade and the #26, Orange Chicken Luncheon Special
Overall good experience. I don't see myself becoming a regular here but it is a place I would definitely have in mind when I'm craving some good chinese food at a reasonable price.

PROS: The Wonton Soup was Splendid. I'm usually very critical when ordering Wonton Soup from new restaurants but I'm glad I ordered it here at Hanans. The quantity of the food is actually very impressive. These guys surely are not scantily dishing out plates in the kitchen. If I hadn't been as starving as I was by the time I ate, I know I couldn't have finished my food in one sitting because many of my coworkers that were with me couldn't finish theirs. I really enjoyed how quickly the food came. I was actually surprised at how soon our waiter came back to our table with all 11 of the dishes that my coworkers and I ordered ready for us.
CONS: I didn't enjoy how big their ginger cuts were. It is not pleasant for me to actually bite into a piece of pure ginger and their rather large pieces that were mixed into my orange chicken hindered me from eating my food freely. This is highly subjective, as other people may enjoy large ginger cuts, but I didn't. Not a reason to totally disregard this place however. Their fried rice had a very nice, rich color to it and was cooked to the perfect texture! Only issue was that it was very bland. Thank you for looking out for hypertension, but I was really looking forward to savory rice to accompany my sweet chicken.

Read moreMy daughter's orange chicken was good. My chop suey was okish. They gave me a bottle of soda that was flat and my daughter said hers was flat as well. The waiter barely came to us I had to call him over to make my order. Then he never came back to check on us after dropping the food to the table. When he finally came I had already been ready to go and when I raised my concern of the flat sodas he told me it's impossible that my soda cannot be flat because they've been serving them all day and had not had any complaints. Well needless to say we left those sodas as his tip for him at the table. We did not enjoy them and we love sprite. Also after seeing that 2 16oz sprite cost $7. Had he replaced the sodas I would have been fine because I would have felt like he tried. But instead he made me feel invalidated like what I said could not possibly be true. Although the food was decent, I will not be returning to this restaurant. Thanks...
Read moreI gave this restaurant five stars before CoVid-19. The food is tasty and the egg drop soup my fav.
They re-designed, and updated the restrooms, and totally re-did the floor plan. The interior is very pleasant and snappy. The entrance was opened up, when you first walk-in. To me a waste of openiness, should of added some more guest setting.
Now, my main complaint of Hunan's bill of fare. The lunch portions where cutdown approximately 25-30%. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE, I ALWAYS HAD LEFTOVERS FOR A GOOD ALA CARTE SNACK AT HOME. They replaced the LARGER PLATTERS WITH SOME REAL LOW END CAFETERIA TRIANGLE PLATES. THEY LOOK SO, CHEAP. [IT TOTALLY DROWNS OUT THE FRESH NEW INTERIOR UPDATES.] NOW, THIS IS HOW, I KNOW THEY CUTDOWN THE OLDER PLATTER PORTIONS. PLUS, THEY USED TO GIVE YOU A LARGER BOWL OF SOUP, NOT ANYMORE.
AND THEN, THEY INCREASED THE MENU PRICES 20 %.
I DON'T COTTON TO PAY MORE FOR LESS FOOD!!!
NOW, my...
