Lani's Hawaiian Style Shave Ice — Restaurant in Spanish Fork

They make a really good shaved ice and have great flavors. But the only reason I know this is because I happened to go one time in the evening when it wasn't too busy or hot. If you go any other time you will be disappointed. They are incredibly slow. If you go during the day when it's hot and busy then your experience will be waiting forever in line in the blistering hot sun. Then when you finally get your shaved ice with ice cream the ice cream will be completely melted because they took too long to make it. On top of that, the ice also melts quickly in heat and makes a puddle that can't be contained by their silly shallow cups and you'll likely make a mess all over your hands or clothes. So disappointed. My fiancé and I were just here and we left with sad versions of what Lani’s shaved ice cones are normally like. The ice was chunky, there was little syrup (the center of our cones are white and have no syrup), and my fiancé found a hair in his. Every night I see this place packed and I was wondering what the craze could be about. Oh man did I learn quick. Lee snow cones are the best I've had in Utah County! First off, the staff were very friendly and let us try couple flavors before we pick which one we wanted.
