we went to dairy queen after school with my daughters one of them being only one years old. she wanted to go because her friends mom was working we ordered our food and waited at a table while my kids homework. the first time the server brought us an order that wasn't even our so she went back and got our order which was still wrong we were missing 2 orders of fries but I didn't say anything the food was really over priced and not very good. burgers were dry. after we ate I looked under the baby's high chair and saw a big mess so I had my daughter pick it all up before we left. after my daughter came back from school the next day she was so upset because she said that we were banned from dairy queen for making a mess first of all I had my 8 year old climb on the floor to pick it up and made sure the booth was picked up. but to have an entire staff mock and make fun of a mom with small kids and actually say we are banned andwoild be refused if we tried to place an order is APPALLING. the point of eating out is to not have to clean up and I made sure that we did pick up after the baby. so don't worry rude staff at dairy queen we will NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. they can't even get the orders...

It's a chain. But it's ICE CREAM!! Ice cream makes us all feel like little kids.
DQ has a nostalgic feel to it for me. I remember as a kid having to drive to another city to get DQ. I always always got the banana split. It feels indulgent to me. Ice cream is indulgent.
This is a very small quaint little part of Sparks history. Established in 1956.
The DQ in Sparks started around the year of 1956. John Mayer, former Sparks City Councilman, has said that he used to come to this location as a child each spring when the business would open for the season and purchase a Banana Split. After several remodels and upgrades this location, which originally only had a walk up window, now features a drive thru and a dining room.
I know several people who work here and they are people anyone can rave about. They are always professional, kind, and friendly. Service is quick and prompt for fast food. Plus the ice cream is something that makes me reminisce about days gone by. If you want to relive your childhood and bring back some cherished memories this is the...
Read moreDairy Queen is a childhood favorite of mine, and I associate their food with a lot of good memories. I wanted to show my boyfriend DQ since he’s never eaten there before, and unfortunately we both left feeling hungry and dissapointed. Now, I never write reviews, and I’ve worked in the food industry for a long time, I get being tired and just done with the work day (we ordered through the drive thru around 10pm). However, to not only not get what we ordered (no onion rings) or getting charged for something we didn’t get (got a 4 piece chicken basket when we ordered a 6 piece and were CHARGED for a 6), it feels bad and disrespectful of both my time and money going to this place (I spent almost $50 on a lackluster experience). The cashier/order taker seemed like she was high and confused when we were ordering, and didn’t repeat our order back to us (which is a common thing in the fast food/food industry). I hope this doesn’t make anyone upset, but it is greatly disappointing to one, show my boyfriend mediocre food, and two, see such lack of effort and performance in the team. I hope this helps them improve their...
