Hopefully things can change here. I’ve had an issue every time I’ve been here and sadly don’t have the time to drive to NW Reno to get El Pollo. Either food is missing from the order, or service is horrible. Tonight was a new one, I tried using my rewards points, the app kept telling me I used it and the manager told me I can’t open the app until I place my order in store . This has NEVER happened in years of going to different El Pollo restaurants. Manager Rosie is adamant this happens if you try to redeem a coupon prior to ordering food, again, I redeem in the drive thru without issues all the time. So, she says what they can do is give me an $8.00 coupon and even showed it to me…They take $1.79 off and then tell me that is the coupon? I don’t know if corporate needs to get involved, but that’s not ok. To top it off, the cashier didn’t scan my code because they told me to sign out and sign back in. lol. So I asked how I get my points for tonight’s order and they said I can’t…. Read moreThe person who helped me at the drive through window was rude. It was a last minute decision to get food here, so if course I wasn't ready (I know, I have to be ready). I was ordering for a family of 7, I ordered a couple of things and then when he asked for the next item I said to give me a second as I was looking at the menu... I ordered another item then he asked again for something else I needed, I said "give me a second" and at that moment he sighed. I said "dude, don't sigh I am buying here I am giving you business. He then said "Sir, nobody sighed and if you continue being disrespectful I am going to cancel your order" I said: I heard you sigh. He then again went and said: "if you are being disrespectful I am going to cancel the order and going to call my manager". I just ordered one more thing and left it at that.
