Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Sparks

Last night, we ordered two large pepperoni & onion pizzas. They were delivered promptly and the temperature was good, so those were two positives, but… They were so skimpy on the toppings it was disappointing. Each large slice had maybe two or three pepperonis and one piece of onion, and a lot of the slices didn't have any onion on them at all. It almost looked like a cheese pizza that somebody accidentally spilled a few toppings on. (Seriously, Digiorno pizzas from the grocery store have more toppings than these did.) I don't ever remember Pizza Hut being this skimpy, but if this is the new direction, we're not likely to order from here again.

Note: I've also had problems getting rewards loaded to my Pizza Hut account, and the company sends canned unhelpful responses without any resolution. This is the third order I've placed that I didn't get any reward points for--and yes I verified that I'm signed up for rewards and they have verified it, too… I don't even want to get into all the details of how much back-and-forth has been spent over the problems with just getting rewards for our orders. Anyway... Pile that on top of skimpy toppings, and we'll just have to buy our pizzas...

We went in to order and were told it would be 20 minutes. While waiting, we put money in the vending machine and it didn't work. They refused to give us our money back, saying they didn't have the key to the games. We sat and waited and watched the young man answering phones. He was not well trained in customer service, he got flustered and was getting heated with customers that were upset about waiting so long for their food. We waited over an hour and finally requested a refund when we found out there were still four orders ahead of ours. At that point the manager came out and refunded us with a quick sorry. By that time there were about 10-15 guests waiting to pick up to-go pizzas. All were upset, they'd also been told it would take 20 minutes when it clearly was over an hour wait. We drove 15 minutes to eat at Pizza hut. We've liked their pizza in the past, but that will be the last time we drive past other good pizzerias to get to them. Their prices also seemed pretty steep...

We ordered 2 medium 2 topping pizzas online, we were charged $37.61. I called in thinking there has got to be some mistake & expecting some customer service and got 0 customer service. I was asked if I ordered online, which I said yes my 13 year old son placed it, and clearly made an error. She sarcastically said "well you didn't see the price before you agreed to pay"? I said listen all I'm asking for is the deal pizza hut is advertising for 2 medium 2 topping pizzas for $5.99 each. She said sorry I can't do that, I can't change prices, so I said fine, I'll return the pizzas. When I got to the store I was once again greeted poorly with 0 service and no opportunity to pay a reduced price or honor the advertised deal. I order pizza from this location 4 or 5 times a month now I won't order there ever again. If I could give 0 stars I would but there's no option for that. I suggest everyone take their business elsewhere unless you like being Taken...
