Lake Mohawk Country Club — Restaurant in Sparta Township

My daughter had her wedding at Lake Mohawk 9/2/17. I had never heard of Lake Mohawk n must admit was very worried about the venue. Everyone commented on what a beautiful place it was! My daughter had a dream wedding! We had some clouds and a few drops of rain but Debra n her staff worked with us n she was able to have the ceremony on the beach, the cocktail hour n The Viennese hour outdoors , as planned. The cocktail n dinner were more than I imagined! Food was more than I expected. Debra n her staff were great! It was truly a memorable day. Thank you Lake Mohawk!

However, As with anything, I must mention, there is always room to improve. The cocktail hour had a long line n having servers would help move it along quicker, also there was a mixup w seating which was not corrected. That was disappointing, because I had planned tables so guests would be near each other n instead ended up across the room.

Another note would be about the venue pricing shown on wedding wire or the knot, the prices shown are starting prices, my daughters price was much higher based on her menu choices. Attending Guests viewing the website may be misled n base their gifts on the web price rather on the actual cost.

After all is said the venue offers a lakeside rustic setting with elegance. Definitely...

My husband and I got married at LMCC back in June and we have nothing but great things to say. The venue is beyond stunning whether you are having your ceremony outdoors and indoors. Unfortunately on our wedding day we did get some rain but Karen, Amber, and Blake did a great job at setting both outdoors and indoors to plan for both just in case. We decided to have our ceremony indoors but were able to get all of our photos outdoors. Karen, Blake, and Amber were so communicative the day of asking us for our preference but also communicative throughout the entire wedding planning. They were all such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. My husband is a wedding photographer and he wanted for us to get married in a unique place to also give our families a different experience and LMCC did not disappoint. All of our guests kept telling us how they loved the venue and how the food and drinks were so good. We were happy to know that all of our guests had such an amazing time. The views from the lake are also gorgeous and we loved that it's like a nice little village where guests can stay close by and go...

My husband and I had our wedding here on Oct 8th and it was not only beautiful but it went extremely smooth thanks to the staff. Blake and Karen were amazing with set up and making the day so easy for us. They also helped us a ton leading up to our wedding. They always responded promptly and were always willing to help. We got married on the grotto and it was everything we wanted it to be. The views were beautiful and our guests loved it just as much as us. The cocktail hour took place outside on the boardwalk and they had tents and heaters handy because of how windy and cold it was. Our reception took place in the grand ballroom which had so much room for all of our guests and it was beautifully decorated. I loved that they had separate places on site for the bride and groom to get ready, and they worked so hard to make sure my husband didn’t see me before our first look. They provided us with food and drinks the morning of as well. I could write an entire separate review on the food but let’s just say that we’re still getting compliments on it after a month!
