I have been in hospitality for over 25 years and have managed a 5 star Italian restaurant recently in Colorado before moving to South Carolina. I want to commend your manager Brooke foe being a hands on manager.
I go into restaurants and being in hospitality, things stick out to us more than others. She greeted me and rang me up as my cashier. First impression is always important. While enjoying my meal with my autistic son, I watched her go from the front of the house to the back of the house, then to her office, then into I guess what appeared to be your dishwasher area, the back side doors before the restrooms, then come back out, hit the women's restroom, then immediately start cleaning chairs.
I was highly impressed as a person being in the industry, you see many managers that will delegate, but won't touch things. I ready did appreciate seeing that as well as your bus girl wiping down high chairs and it was early around 11:30-11:45 am when we first got there. We didn't leave til 12:40 and I was just happy to see management and staff providing a clean environment. My autistic son loves Cicis he is 13 6'1 350 lbs. He is a big boy. Thanks for giving us this opportunity to give good feedback as in the industry you know we regularly don't get the good reviews. Have a great day and thank you...
Read moreWe were in the Spartanburg area for a Costco trip, and decided to check out some of the other stores around before heading there. This Cicis Pizza location was near one of the stores we were checking out, so we decided to stop in for lunch. We did the pizza buffet, which was priced pretty reasonably for a buffet (a little less than $10 per person). There were two small areas where you could grab some pizza from. A somewhat long line would form as people would get pizza. I tried the mac and cheese, the spinach alfredo, the buffalo chicken, the meat eater, and the pepperoni pizzas. I also tried a fudge brownie and a slice of the apple dessert pizza. They had shakers of parmesan cheese for people to use, which I thought was great. The pizza itself was good for what it was, but I definitely thought that some of them could use more flavor. For instance, the mac and cheese pizza was a lot more bland than I was expecting. The spinach alfredo was pretty good. The buffalo chicken pizza was delicious! The fudge brownie was not very good- it was super thin and it did not taste like a sweet chocolate brownie. The apple dessert pizza, however, was incredible. This was my first time at Cicis so I was not sure what to expect, but overall, we had a...
Read moreThis location used to be so good but it's went downhill so much. Last time I ordered, they forgot my 2 liter drink (that I paid more than $3 for) so the lady told me to ask for her next time we came in & we would receive it. The next time we went, they said she wasn't there so they couldn't give it to me, they just gave me a regular fountain drink. More than once we've tried to order online & it won't let us so we have to go in & order & wait forever on it. Another time we went in & sometimes Monday-Wednesday they have a 3.99 buffet for 1 person so we decided to go, I was in the middle of trying to pull the website up but my phone was being slow, there was also no one else in line but I still tried to hurry. The manager got an attitude & really smartly said "well I guess I'll give it to you this time" as if there was a choice. It's not a coupon, it's the website itself. Definitely won't be returning & I'll drive 5 miles out of the way to Greenville to the...
