This is my first time to post on Fratello’s Restaurant as I have never eaten or been to this establishment before today (November 16, 2023). I was currently in town visiting family and suggested we stop at this restaurant to eat dinner. When we arrived at the restaurant at 4:50 p.m. it was quite empty except for 2 couples who were already seated and eating. Immediately a young man by the name of Carlos approached us, introduced himself, took our party of 5 and seated us at a booth and quickly took our drink order. Initially our experience with Carlos was pleasant and went smoothly. But that was the extent of pleasantry. Carlos returned with our drinks, took our meal order and then a few minutes later reappeared with bread and a Greek Salad for 2 of our family members. Before we knew it, a good amount of time had passed and the restaurant began to get more and more crowded with the dinner crowd. By 5:30 p.m. the dinner crowd was steadily coming in to the restaurant and still not one of our pasta dishes had been brought to our table. Then, Carlos as he was moving table to table and was bypassing our table, in matter of fact way, he said that our food was still in the works and would be coming out as soon as the Pizza was ready. At this point I felt like our experience was only going to go down hill from there and sure enough it did! As the dinner crowd kept coming into Fratello’s we noticed that various people who had walked in and got seated after us were actually getting served their meals before us!! By this time, it had been an hour or a little over an hour that we’d been waiting on our pasta dishes and we hadn’t be checked on nor had anyone cared to give us any more updates on why our meals hadn’t made it to our table yet. Not one person even cared to ask if we needed or wanted anything more (Carlos was running all over the place and hadn't stopped at our table since he last informed us that our food and the Pizza was still in the works). I personally was now beyond annoyed and frustrated! I saw an older gentleman close to our table helping seat and serve other customers and decided to grab his attention and asked him to check on our food order because we had been waiting far to long for our food. He stated that he would go and check on our order and find out what was going on or what might be the problem and get back to us. Needless to say, the gentleman never got back to us and simply just kept bypassing our table, and went about ignoring us. In my opinion this is such an unprofessional and disrespectful way to treat customers and run a business. To make matters even worse, the cashier person had the audacity to begin yelling at one of my family members because we decided to walk out and not wait longer on our food. Fratello’s restaurant do to their own mistake which they did not want to take responsibility and accountability for on some food order that they had taken earlier and stated to my family member that it got them backed up on other food orders…this issue was not our problem and yet all the while they neglected us and kept us waiting and waiting….Fratello’s you all need to do better!
We gave up waiting because we’d decided enough was enough! I will never recommend Fratello’s and I definitely will never return to...
Read moreWe are big supporters of Fratellos. This review is for the past visit only. Normally really good experience and food. Let me start by saying food is always good. We went the week of Christmas with a group of eight. A Christmas dinner with friends. Some had not been to Fratellos others had. My husband and I are usuals because we live so close. When we first arrived the host seemed so confused. We had called and made reservations. They had some bigger parties that night. They had a few tables labeled. Our reservation had seemed to be over looked. We got seated quickly although. Waiter was a young boy. He seemed new to the profession. He had two large tables us and another party of seven. The other table asked for him right after he had us seated. He took on both large parties. Drinks took forever. We had been there almost an hour and our drinks had not all arrived from the bar. They only had one bartender. She went MIA for a bit. Almost an hour no bread and not everyone had gotten there drinks. We had to ask several times and several people. Out waiter took forever. He kept getting really confused and had to keep repeating our orders. We never got bread. An hour or so later our appetizer arrived. We had the calamari. Always a big hit. Two friends pizzas came and we all waited about 20 mins before everyone else's food came. By then the pizza was cold. Food was delicious as always. Main complaint was with the service and bar. It was awful. We were there for over two hours. My husband ordered a bottle of wine for the table. It had already been opened and the girl took $1 off price. Wine was flat from being open. Don't think you should have even served that to us as a sale. Rip off but oh well. We asked for it. When we left we all left dissatisfied with service. Everyone seemed to be standing around and confused. Our poor little waited didn't have any help. Our empty drink glasses sat there forever before someone finally came to get them. No team work it seems. One waitress got mad and made words with our waiter because he "stole" her table. Which, he did not. That group asked for him. He had already taken our table on prior to that. Poor guy wanted to make them happy. Not his fault. She had an attitude and just stood there all night glaring. Like I said before we are fans of Fratellos. This review is not to discourage anyone from going there. They are usually on point and food is always excellent. Hoping that management sees this and fixes the staff issues. Fratellos we will see you again soon! Please in the mean time work on service. I'm not one to hold a grudge and I understand places have bad nights and this was one of them. We visited December 27th 2019 for...
Read moreFirst visit ever and my review is solely based off the wait time during our service. My party of 5 arrived @ 4:50pm with only 2 tables occupied with couples eating when we were seated. The entire front area of the restaurant was empty on arrival and immediately a young man who introduced himself as Carlos came running to seat us. Our drink order was taken and then he was quickly back with our drinks, bread and to take our orders. We purposely arrived right before 5-5:30 with the assumption that a dinner rush would follow soon and we had movie tickets for a 6:20pm showing and knew this would give us time to order and eat..boy were we wrong!! By 5:45pm the only thing delivered to our table was the greek salad my aunt had ordered. My family and I were trying to pass the time in conversation but as the restaurant got fuller and fuller, all tables surrounding us seated and multiples given their orders before us we were finally able to get the attention of this older gentlemen that had been running around seating everyone at all the tables. We hadn’t seen Carlos in such a long time that we inquired with this older gentlemen if he could look into our meals as we had now been waiting going on 50 minutes. At this point we now only had 10 minutes to even eat our meals before we needed to be on our way to make our movie. After asking him to check in on our food the man circled and passed our table 3 additional times not once coming back to update us. 6pm hit and my family decided to get up and head to the front register. My aunt who did end up eating her salad when it was delivered walked up and informed the woman at the register that she would pay for her salad but that at this point we had now waited an hour and a few minutes for our food with no update and we would be leaving. The woman proceeded to ask my aunt if she would like to take her pizza to go when it comes out and my aunt said no we are leaving I’ll pay for the salad. My aunt went to hand over her credit card when the woman began to yell at my aunt for choosing to leave. My cousin spoke up and asked why her mother would even be charged at this point and the woman at the front again yelled “well I didn’t force your mom to pay”. My aunt then stated well we are not going to just dine and dash but we are also not staying where we are not being served.
I will not be back to Fratellos and am very surprised that this was our experience on our very...
