As with most reviews for this particular Popeye's, the low rating is well-deserved. This establishment has some of the worst service I have ever experienced. All of the attitude, drama, and pettiness from the young women who work there are completely unwarranted.
Today, my nephew and I dined in. We were never greeted. As we stood waiting, three young women pranced around, playing and talking among themselves without even acknowledging us. After about five minutes, I spoke up, and we were finally served. The employee waiting on us had a terrible attitude, citing that she wasn't even supposed to be at the front counter. I told tell her, "Any scheduling issues and where management stations their employees are not my business. Calm down and relax because it's just not that serious." While eating, my nephew and I observed the downright terrible behavior of these employees as they served other customers. I saw one man ask for a manager, who never came. Appearing frustrated, he walked out. Another man had been waiting for a very long time to be served. When he asked the employees, "Why are y'all treating me like this?" the Shift Manager, NICOLE, yelled from behind the food station, "You can just leave!" The way she treated that man was absolutely disheartening. Another male customer, who was also at the counter, shrugged his shoulders and asked the guy, "What was that all about?" After the man waiting finally got his food, he walked out. I got up and went out, too. I apologized to him for the way he had been treated. He said, "I don't know why they do me like that. They treat me the same way every time I go in there." After further discussing the matter, I went back inside. As my nephew and I were leaving, I stopped at the counter and asked for the name and number of the Regional Manager. One of the employees asked, "Do you mind me asking what was wrong with your service for you to ask for that?" I responded, "A whole lot of things, but particularly the way that man was treated." At that point, the same Shift Manager, NICOLE, started yelling at the top of her lungs, "If you don't like the service, don't come back! Go! As a matter of fact, don't ever come back!" She refused to give me the Regional Manager's information.
It's extremely sad that my nephew, who just turned 15 (on the same day of this incident), had to witness such disrespect from someone in a position of authority. As a young 9th grader, he saw a man about three times his age be disrespected by a woman in such a way that I, even as a woman, could never reasonably justify it. Then, he had to witness his own aunt be disrespected simply for asking for contact information to report the matter to higher management. Instead of cowering and letting this absurdity go, I will be taking a much bigger stand by reporting this entire matter to Popeye's Corporate Office. With all of the security cameras in that place and after viewing the footage, I'm hoping Corporate will take positive actions concerning this restaurant as a whole. Look at the reviews because I certainly did! Nor was I surprised. All of those different people basically giving the same reviews about the attitudes aren't making up that stuff!

Read moreI don’t particularly enjoy leaving low reviews for wait staff, because I worked as a waitress through high school and had to deal with being reprimanded for online reviews left by customers. My mother and I chose to dine inside the restaurant the around noon on July 23, 2022 and were surprised at how efficiently our orders were taken and how kind the girl behind the register was, but the experience only went downhill from there. My first comment regards the kind girl who took our order. She asked for the name for the order and my mother gave her first name and the girl said that she was just going to put it under “Alice” which is not even close to my mother’s name. I am unsure if she did not know how to spell my mother’s first name or why she made the executive decision to put our food under a different alias, but we would rather her have asked how it was spelled than put the food under a different name because that’s a common reason that food ends up being mixed up and given to the wrong person. The ice machine was out of order so we filled our drinks and sat down. About twenty or so minutes passed and my mother took the receipt to the counter to inquire about the food. The drive through line was quite long as was the line indoors. We quickly noticed, however, that orders were being made out of order and ours had somehow been pushed behind several other people who had ordered their food after we had sat down. The poor wait staff seemed quite discombobulated as they were only able to complete one task at a time but were all joining in on one task instead of assigning individual tasks to better function as a team. We received our order after about thirty minutes of waiting to find that the fries were missing and we were given way more than the eight nuggets that we paid for. Not to mention that many of the girls that were both in the kitchen and working as wait staff were scrolling through their phones when they could have been preparing orders for the various people in the restaurant as well as the drive through line. The staff were severely underprepared and seem not to have been trained on proper restaurant etiquette. The women’s restroom was by far the most disgusting public restroom I had ever entered. The floor was quite slick which poses a threat to elderly individuals. I understand that kitchen staff use the restroom as well but the chicken breading, hairs, and other unknown substances need to be wiped from the sink and floor to maintain cleanliness. The bathroom trash was overflowing with used paper towels which were scattered across the floor presenting yet another fall hazard. Read moreI placed over a $15 order on 4/9/25 at about 7:30ish pm through my mobile app and when I got to the drive through the employee told me that my food wasn’t ready and that I would have to come inside to get my food. I asked why couldn’t I wait on it as if I had placed the order at the window… she then told me that it was “policy” that I had to come inside to get my food. What’s the point of placing my order on the mobile app for my convenience when it’s not a convenience at all if I can’t pick my food up from the window as I had planned. I then told her that I wanted to cancel my order and she told me that I would have to do that through the app. When I went on the app I didn’t see an option to cancel my order that I had already paid for. Had to use a bot chat and didn’t get my money back… it told me I would hear from someone within 24- 48 hours via email. I called a different store manager at a different location just 8 miles away and asked about this so called “policy” and she told me that it wasn’t true and that if my food wasn’t ready that they were supposed to pull me up and bring my order out to me once it was ready. I’m not impressed with the service at this particular restaurant at all! I also am not impressed with the fact that I couldn’t physically speak with someone about my issue… this is poor business and not a good look for this particular location!!! The store wasn’t even busy either so the employees that are too lazy to do their jobs need to be filtered out and replaced and based on several other reviews… it speaks for itself! I want my money back for the food and service I DIDN'T receive…. I shouldn’t have to go through all of this to get my money back for poor service and then have to wait days to hopefully get my money back!!! If I don’t get my money back I will be contacting BBB!!!
