Healthy food options exist when you order "out of the box". My husband and I ordered one Washington giant burrito and he took 2/3 and I had the 1/3 to create a salad with. The burrito comes with grilled chicken, potatoes, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. I requested 1 side of lettuce, 1 side of cilantro & onions, and 1 side of sliced limes. There was an extra charge of $1.29 for each side ($3.87 total) but it was well worth it. I then scooped out my burrito fixings from the tortilla end and mixed everything together on the burrito wrapper. They have a condiment bar in the restaurant with pickled and spicy veggies. I added 2 large scoops of the pickled jalepeno/cabbage to my salad. I could have added ranch but my burrito already had enough sour cream and cheese that when I added the lime juice, it made a very tasty "dressing". I didnt want to waste the tortilla so I made a mini burrito with part of my salad, which ensured my burrito craving was cured. You can eat healthy if you can think outside the menu box. Atilanos always has amazing and fresh ingredients. You just need to know how to...
Read moreEven ordering a bogo offer, this was not worth it. I ordered two burritos and a side of carne asada. I added photos so you can see I asked for no sour cream but it was in there. Also the description on the website says this one has chicken, guac, cheese, sour cream, and potatoes. You can see there was no trace of guac. And it looks like they ran out of potatoes so they shoved fries in there?
Lastly, the side of carne asada looked small so I pulled out my kitchen scale. Sure enough, it is only 3oz with the ramekin included and I paid $3.65 for 4oz. Pretty disappointing.
I had considered giving them another shot in the future, but in looking at the other reviews, I don't think it will be much different. It's rare that I would say it's not even worth it on a BOGO offer but this was poor all around so I do not recommend others try unless they are in person and can...
Read moreI went through the drive thru at Atilanos on Argonne. I knew I shouldn’t because of my last experience but I did. Last time they asked for a tip in the drive thru and I said sure, go ahead and add two dollars but looking at my receipt when I got home the lady added three dollars for a tip. I hadn’t been there in a while so tonight I decided to give them another shot and sure enough they asked for a tip again in the drive thru and I politely said no thank you. When I got home I found out they gave us beef instead of chicken. Not sure if it was an honest mistake or was it because I didn’t tip tonight. Personally I think the whole tipping thing has gotten way out of control. Tipping used to be for someone who went above and beyond the standard level of service and they were rewarded with a tip...
