Whistle Stop Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Spokane Valley

Whistle Stop coffee has got to be one of the best kept coffee stand secrets in all of Spokane Valley. I was brand new to Spokane and had no idea where to go. So a girl I met at work told me about this place and I have been hooked ever since. They have some delicious drinks. My ABSOLUTE favorite is the Train Tracks. I ordered it iced the first few times, then my friend told me to try it blended. OH. EM. GEE!! We are talking about next level! The baristas are always very friendly and have big smiles. Occasionally the lines are long, but I have learned that they move fast. Plus, it shows how good their drinks are! Trust me, it is worth waiting in line for! We do not even live in the Valley, but when I need to go out there, Whistle Stop is a must...

Two days ago I came through, around 10-11am. I watched the Barista hand the coffee to the customer in front of me. They proceeded to chit chat for 4 minutes. Kind of rude when I was waiting. After I pulled up and ordered, the two baristas were speaking negatively about a daycare. Just so happens my children go here and have since they were infants! I think it’s so unprofessional to talk about another small business while running one and at the completely wrong time! Do it on your time and in private. The drinks aren’t very great and are typically watered down when I go. I rarely get coffee from anywhere now, I make it at home. But when I do need to get one from here, I feel like my overall experience here...

The wait was way too long, I'd think they'd speed up but they didn't care to I guess, and the woman wasn't all the nice, my friend was trying to get her attention at the window to change her drink but when the woman noticed her she ignored her then a min later finally came to the window. Once my friend asked for a change in her drink the woman got after her because she already made the drink, then acted like her mom saying that she needs to tell her before hand because she already made the drink, making my friend feel like she had to apologize to her over and over again the only good thing about the place is the drinks are cheap.
