On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, my wife and I plus a few friends went to De Leon Foods for dinner. We had been to De Leon’s Taco & Bar up north before and kind of expected a traditional family restaurant experience at this location as well. However, it is a little different. You do order up at the deli and then go up and retrieve your food once it is cooked. But don’t let that dissuade you from going because this place is awesome!

Even though you aren’t assigned a server and even though the restaurant is within a grocery store, it is actually a really nice atmosphere. I ordered the enchiladas with green sauce and they were delicious. Perfect amount of spice and the rice and beans were tasty. In addition to my wife’s dish she ordered for herself, she also got “Rebel Fries” (covered in cheese and chicken) to share with the table. It was a unique item that you don’t see at most Mexican restaurants.

The prices are cheap compared to what you would pay at Azteca or other family Mexican restaurants and the plate presentations are really well-done. I would definitely recommend...

Me and my mom and my wife went to the establishment a week ago and we had we all had the same thing chicken chimichanga combo plate and medium Horchata we liked it so much. It was excellent. It was delicious the portions was outrageous as a matter of fact we liked it enough to order it again tonight, but this time we had it sent to the house via Uber eats and I am sad to say that we received less than half of the portion that we received when we actually sat down in the establishment and paid more. I am not happy about this , I would love for the owner to contact me via email Tomburke 420@gmail.com and tell me what are you plans to do about this because you cannot give a customer One thing well, they dining in your restaurant and a different portion size when they order it to be delivered I mean really W.T.F if you don’t make this right, I will never eat at your...

I purchase items to prepare my own Mexican meals, being from San Antonio Texas good Mexican food is hard to fine this far North. My real beef is while shopping at the Sullivan store on Friday (24 April) not a one employee had on a mask or gloves. Employees were serving prepared food from a buffet style counter while talking over the food without any protection over the mouth. No one in the store was Observing the six foot rule. Two customers ahead of me saw this and walked out. The store is going to lose a lot of customers if this is NOT fixed.

I ordered two Pork Tamales and was told the store was out for the day, which was ok, if you are out, you are out. After poking around in the Tamale Pan she says, I do have one, oh here’s another one. Only to find out the next day after heating them up they were CHICKEN. Don’t eat Chicken, so I...

I have spent a lot of time in Mexican markets, and these guys hold up pretty well, especially being stuck in a town that doesn't have a lot of Latine presence. I have eaten just about everything from their hot food selection and everything is really good. Reminds me of some of the food I had on trips in Mexico. The market is laid out well and had really good selection. I will note you have to get in early if you want any of their amazing flan. Every employee I have interacted with has been helpful and friendly, and despite what some rotten Karen's have tried to lie and say, have never been treated differently than non white patrons. The people saying that are just rotten people trying to attack.a hard working family business. In short, this is a great place for prepared Mexican food or to pick up ingredients to make your own.

We really love De Leon. The valley location market is our favorite as we love to stock up on groceries for cooking at home as well as eating in the deli restaurant area. Everything is fresh and delicious, from the wonderful baked goods, to fresh produce, to yummy soft taco shells of many varieties. Every time we go we like to try at least one new thing we haven't before. This has led us to wonderful new flavors and recipes. Honestly, one of our favorite locations in Spokane. Wish they had some Idaho locations like Post Falls and Coeur d' Alene!
