Logan Tavern — Restaurant in Spokane

We came for a friend’s birthday brunch, but also to watch the Zags game. They have $3 mimosas for brunch, which of course we started with a few of those.

They have a few different juice flavors to choose from. Orange, pineapple, grapefruit and cranberry. The whole table ordered something different. I tried the French toast with berry purée, it was okay, it seemed dry even though it had syrup. A friend had the chicken sandwich and praised it, unfortunately I didn’t get to try that . They do have delicious sweet potato tots. And their garlic fries had an abundance of garlic which is all I look for in garlic fries.

I ordered the brisket hash with a side of hollandaise sauce. It was good. There was plenty of brisket, and big chunks of it as well. I do wish that there was more seasoning, on the brisket and the overall dish. I think if the brisket itself was more juicy it would add a lot more flavor to the dish itself.

Another friend ordered the Logan’s Benny. I found the price to be over priced for only one egg Benny, and it did not come with any sides of potato’s. So make sure you order a side .

The place started getting really busy because of the zags game. But the whole vibe was a fun time. Our server was on top of evrything, bringing us drinks when needed. We were there for quite a while, and enjoyed our time.

The customer service here was excellent. I called the number listed on Google maps and was getting a phone not in service message, then Google maps suggested I direct message them. A few minutes after I messaged them I got a response and they gave me the managers cell number to place the order, she was super friendly and told me my order would be ready by the time I got there. Customer service 5☆. The burger was definitely better then any burger I could make but the meat was slightly over cooked and there for not as juicy as it could have been 4☆. Can't speak for the in bar experience because I took my food to go but the tavern was very very clean and well maintained. Came in for a few beers, a game of pool and some dinner. The place was semi packed, but our bartender was great with service. The draft beer selection was not very good, and left a lot to be desired. Because if this, I went with the special and got a corona, and immediately remembered how much I don't care for it. We tried to play pool, but the cue sticks had absolutely no tips left on them. We asked if they had any spares, and they didn't. Was really excited to have this be a place to play, but definitely won't be back for the lack of detail to the bar games. The pickle fries were amazing, the chicken sandwich was too heavy on the breading, but the brioche bun was a great addition.
