We went there for lunch the other day and the food was “meh.” I was very happy to see that the Black pepper chicken” was back! However it was not nearly as good as it was before they took it off the menu. It was EXTREMELY over peppered and did not have much flavor to it. The white rice had some hard pieces of rice in it, like it had not been cooked all the way. My lunch date finished their Panda Original Orange Chicken bowl. You can refer to the picture of said empty bowl container. LOL. As we were paying for our lunch, after the transaction was done and we were walking away from the register, I remembered to ask for sauces such as soy sauce and hot mustard. Every other Panda Express that I have been to, I have always been offered these sauces at check out. The restaurant as a whole was clean. We found an empty table near the window to enjoy our lunch. The restrooms were also nice and clean, which is always a nice surprise. The biggest issue we encountered is the the staff seemed “rushed” even tho there were not a whole lot of people in there at the time. We might go back to give it...
Read moreI had a job interview here a while back and the things that were said shouldn’t have been said.
Saying the the company that I had worked for at the time had lower standards than yours and basically implying that means I guess I’m not good enough (at least that’s how I interpreted it) was highly inappropriate and unprofessional for a job interview. I also felt more attacked and like I wasn’t allowed to talk at all during the interview. I feel like if you don’t like someone during an interview or think someone doesn’t meet your standards, you should keep it to yourself and simply just not call or email them back. it’s absolutely ok to simply do an interview and not hire someone. There’s more that was said but I’m gonna keep it simple.
I gave it 2 stars because I like the food at Panda Express and I have good experiences when I’m a customer. I’m not going to give Shadle my business simply because that was the worst job interview I’ve ever had, I even cried afterwards. I’m still a guest in your store whether I’m eating there or at a job interview and I just wish I was treated a...
Read moreUpdate: They need to teach their employees on serving sizes. I don't know what they are suppose to do, but every once in a while, I get much smaller portions then I usually do. Got the sweet and sour chicken, I had 4 chicken pieces, I had more pineapple then chicken, the lady only gave me one average scoop on every single entree. Even the veggies was less than what I normally get.If you get the bigger plate, they put the dish with the most water/sauce in their little containers. This almost always makes a mess in the bag, getting it all over everything and you have to wipe everything down. Also, half the time the mixed veggies are not streamed through. I waited 20 minutes 1 time for them and got hard veggies that I couldn't pierce with a fork at all, they will still raw and I couldn't eat it. And I wrote this today because they were again hard, not as bad as raw, but still not pleasant and won't be able to finish it. They also can't cut the teriyaki chicken very well. It is never separated and I have to get my own knife to cut it away from the rest, today it was...
