Taco Bell — Restaurant in Spokane

I usually don't like posting negative reviews, but this one needs to be said.

I usually get what I want from this Taco Bell and the same goes for my boyfriend, and usually they get our order right. But, this evening was not our day. The young woman that is currently working the drive thru was very hard to hear over the intercom. We read the screen in hopes of getting what we asked for. My boyfriend finally pulled up to the window, and neither of us heard her say the total. He said "I'm sorry?" She basically whispered in a mouse whisper and he had her repeat herself so she could speak up and for him to hear her better to make sure he heard the total correctly. First she served my soda then my boyfriend had to repeat himself twice to her because she kept on messing up the soda size. At first she handed him a medium then finally grabbed the large size, which is what he wanted, but she did not fill it up all the way. We finally head home and eat. After I got done, I realized part of our order is missing. Our dessert we had planned to split. Both of us understand that the drive thru can get pretty slammed and we're patient on waiting, but having the drive thru slammed should not be any excuse to come home to a partial meal. This girl had us wait 20 mins because she was moving so slow. Usually, my boyfriend and I would wait between 10-15 mins and the drive thru would be flowing. I don’t have pictures cause I was starving, however; I feel the need to share my experience at this specific location. First, I’ll start by saying I was so hungry that I ordered here instead of waiting ten minutes to get to the Taco Bell nearby my home that I gave a five star rating. My home base Taco Bell has always been fresh, amazing, friendly, and with extra attention to detail. This Taco Bell served me cold chalupas that weren’t even fried, I feel like they literally stuck it into the bread without doing whatever step they typically take first. I also ordered simple chips with cheese sauce, the chips were small pieces, barely half way full in the little bag they come in. This is the worst Taco Bell experience I’ve ever had. I reminded them nicely for fire sauce after she gave me back my card, I still didn’t get any. The Taco Bell nearby that I always go to are upbeat, always on point, offer suggestions they find people or themselves like, great multitaskers, and always ask if there is taco sauce I’d like. It’s always hot and fresh. This Taco Bell literally had just me in the line, nobody else, until I pulled up to the window … then they had one other person in line. I could understand if they were busy, but they weren’t at all. I gave two stars cause at least the food inside the tacos were warm. The worst visit to Taco Bell 🔔 in my 62 years. I should have taken photos and videos of the place. It was filthy and unsanitary. Especially in the preparation areas. There was what looked like a whole package of nacho chips on the ground floor in the back, and the preparation trays where the food was made were full of excess droppings. There were 2-3 people in the dining area. Most of the tables and floors were dirty and hardly anyone at the drive-thru. I was having trouble with the app and went to the order counter, which was when I noticed the status of the kitchen area 😳. I stood there for a couple of minutes and watched 👀 at least 3 workers pass by in the back. One of whom looked at me twice! Finally, I had to ask if anyone was working or not. A young lady came to the counter and I told her I was having trouble with the app. In the meantime, you could hear several people in the back having a great time. She helped me and I sat back down and watched, nobody was making our order. Then I heard someone say "Oh, there's an order", all of a sudden there were 5-6 workers back there making the order 🤔 (Where were they when the place needed cleaning). When we finally got our order, my burrito was maybe 4 inches long and our tacos were broken and soggy!(I don't know if it's because the shells were so thin or the meat was too moist.)
