I am giving this location 1 star because 0 or negative stars was not available. My husband and I come to this wake up call daily⌠and buy anywhere from 16$-28$ worth of coffee/ bagels from this location. We come in DAILY⌠Religiously for the last year at least. My husband drove in, ordered, and ran his card. They ran it 3 different times for 22$ and then looked at my husband and said âobviously itâs not gonna go through⌠today weâll give you these but we will never do this againâ. My husband had been checking our bank statement where all 3 charges were âpendingâ and there were a couple hundred dollars. My husband brought this up and was shooed away by the women through the drive through.
My husband drives down to WA trust and pulls the money that was needed for the coffee and heads back to wake up call. The same lady who he dealt with before was at the window. My husband politely informed her that he ran to the bank and would like to pay for what we got about 20 mins prior and wanted to let them know there was a problem with their machines most likely so to be aware of that. The woman was extremely rude to him and as she had her back turned to him making another drink said there was nothing wrong with their system and again to âmake sure you have the money next time to get coffee or we wonât be giving them to youâ, my husband explained that he just payed for the drinks so they didnât âgiveâ him anything⌠nor did he ask them too. He also asked about the 3 pending 22$ charges and she said âif the charges go through then to report them to the bank⌠like a normal person would doâ. This last attitude and comment was pretty much the last straw.
We do appreciate the male manager who heard the conversation and took over at that point. He was much more decent.
Description of the girl- younger/ in her 20s- black sweatshirt and brown hair. She was the only female working along side a male manager when my husband went in this morning.
Sometimes someone can look so very sweet and nice but once their mouth opens their true nasty colors will show and this women is a shining example of this. No common courtesy, no eye contact, no respect for people who help pay her checks by coming to that location daily for long periods of time (regulars).
We wonât be back and would never recommend unless you feel like being treated like crap or enjoy missing the CHEESE on your toasted...
Read moreOkay, of all the Coffee places in Spokane and there are a lot of them, I like Wake Up Call the best. Why? They are consistent at many of their locations, I say many become I used to live down in the Valley near the Wake Up Call on Pines North Pines, between the church and the School. Hands down my favorite, probably because I have had the most interaction. However, this location on Wedgewood and Division is closet to my new place so I go there quit a bit.
Trellanie (Spelling may be off here) is my favorite, she is a consummate professional, she is always friendly, she is always engaging but has an efficiency about her that keeps it moving.
With others it's hit or miss, a lot of attitudes that should not be emitting the signals they are emitting. CUSTOMER SERVICE is paramount, no matter what kind of day your having, make sure I think your having a fantastic day. Even if I know your having a bad day I shouldn't have a bad experience because if it.
Also, I know the experience has a lot to do with making drinks and engaging, however if there is a line--keep it moving. Don't make me wait and wait and wait because your having an in-depth conversation with the customer at the window. Typically that doesn't happen in the morning because someone is working through the line with a handheld but later in the day this occurs and not on occasion, it has occurred more than once. One day I was waiting and waiting and the folks at the window didn't even order a drink it was like a social call or something. That's incredibly rude and unprofessional to those in the line.
Overall, most Wake Up Call locations are fantastic, including this one. Just an observation or two that you can always work on to level up your game. Highly...
Read moreI enjoy wake up call, but I have not had the best experience at this location. I have tried multiple times and I am let down every time I come to this location. One time I went, it took 15 min for my breakfast sandwich to come going through the drive through. The barista asked me to pull forward, I wish I would have known it was going to take this long cause I was almost late to work. Another time I went inside due to my last drive through experience. I stood at the front counter for 8 min. No one acknowledged I was standing there. When one of the blond baristas made eye contact with me. I knew she saw me. Continuing to help cars in the drive though I finally said EXCUSE ME. A different barista said âhi how can I help you?â I said do you guys have an order you do? She said âwhy do you ask?â I said cause I have been standing here for a while. She said âoh we didnât see you.â I almost said BS I made eye contact with your blond co worker at the window next to the counter. I just kept my mouth quiet, got my drink, did not tip, and I left. The last thing that was my final straw at coming to this location was the consistency in the drinks. I feel itâs hit and miss on how my drink is made. I have also been charged different prices when I order the same drink every time.... My hot 16 oz americano has costed me up to 5$ and and low as 3$. I finally asked how much should it be and the gentleman said 3.50. Super frustrating, and I have decided I am done giving this location chances. Prices might be more at Starbucks but at least itâs fast, and...
