It takes quite a bit for me to write a negative review. We live across the street from Billy's and have never really had any issues before. Last night after my son's baseball game we stopped in for some dogs. First thing the blonde cashier says is "we are out of fries and something else" I wasn't really listening to the second item. I was floored. Your business runs off of fries and sandwiches basically! My wife asks if we can get another side in exchange. The girl says yes I can offer money off of either the cheese curds or onion rings. Now I am expecting you to take off $1.99, which is the normal cost of the fries, off of the other item. Nope. Took off $.75 after I complained about being charged full price and had to be issued a refund. Now I didn't make you not order fries for your hot dog business! Anyways I decided to order a beef/sausage combo and sat down to eat with my family. One bite in and the middle of the sausage is completely raw! Asked my wife just to be sure I wasn't being crazy and she advised the same thing. I brought the sandwich back to the counter where the younger guy who is always working gave me a what the hell do you want look. I showed him the sausage and he asked what was wrong with it. This is not hard to notice! He took it back and then gave me another sandwich in literally 1 minute. Makes me question why I had to wait 10 minutes for my food to begin with. This one was cooked but now covered in jardiniere which I ordered on the side. I just ate it and we left. As I said before. I have to have a pretty bad experience to write a negative review of anywhere but I could not believe the actions of the employees last night. Got home and opened up my burger to find multiple bright green large spots of smelly mold on the bun right on top. It was so obvious that it's unbelievable that this was served to anyone. Mold is fungus and can make people sick. When you have one item with mold on it you have a problem with cleanliness and the rest of your food that has been near the contaminated items. Spores get everywhere. It takes approximately 5 to 7 days for mold to begin to start on decomposing food let alone become large enough like it was on mine. Check with the US department of agriculture for information on that. Had to go back and ask for something different. No refund offered just a replacement sandwich and a piece of cake. Glad I didn't get sick from eating anything else from Billy's. Some people have compromised immune systems and mold or other little issues can really make them sick. I have been eating there for years and the quality has gone downhill recently. It makes me wonder how fresh the rest of the food is. Very very unhappy ex customer and will not be going back to...
