Would rate lower, if google would allow. Have had many poor experiences at this specific restaurant, typically around not getting what I ordered, poor customer service, one time I even got a big Mac with no meat when I asked for and paid for double meat. The straw that broke the camel’s back was that I ordered using app in drive thru and app glitched upon payment so had to order at drive thru. When I got to the window, I noticed that they had charged my credit card from the app so went inside to ensure we didn’t have double orders. Shift leader said if I didn’t give her the ‘code’ from the app, the app charge would fall off so we proceeded with drive thru order. Fast-forward 3 days, charge for app order still active with my bank. Tried to contact corporate McDonald’s through app, but it directed me back to local restaurant. Went back to local restaurant and shift leader said she couldn’t do anything since it wasn’t same day and said I must’ve picked it up since it went through. Told me to call ‘owners’ and gave me their number. When I called them, I left a message on their answering service. Come to find out they’re only open four days a week and for limited hours. It’s been over a week and I have not had a return call. Essentially they have stolen $27 from me as I did not pick up my order and they got $27. There is no accountability for poor app service, poor food service, or poor customer service. Not sure how long the restaurant can continue with this type of leadership. I will be pursuing filing with the Better...
Read moreI have never been so appalled by the lack of customer service and human decency in a restaurant as I was at the McDonald’s in Spring Hill, TN last week. An elderly veteran—struggling to walk and walking with a cane—stood at the counter area waiting for help. He had no idea that this McDonald’s is now “kiosk only.” The staff saw him. They acknowledged the DoorDasher in front of him, then turned their backs and walked away without a word. Not one single employee offered assistance. This man was once a United States Marine and is now visibly weak, leaning against the wall for support, yet no one cared enough to help him. Eventually, he gave up and shuffled slowly back to his car without food. My father followed him outside, asked what he wanted to order, then ordered it on the ridiculous kiosk, and we brought it out to him. The veteran was incredibly grateful and he told us he couldn’t stand much longer and had to leave. This man fought for our country, but apparently can’t get any service at a McDonald’s in the country he defended. The employees should be ashamed. The corporation should be ashamed. A kiosk-only ordering system might make sense in some locations, but to completely eliminate a cashier for customers who can’t use or don’t understand the kiosk is cruel and thoughtless. How hard would it be to have one cashier available for people who need help? Shame on you, McDonald’s in Spring Hill, TN. And shame on the McDonald's corporation for putting profits over basic...
Read moreGood Old McDonald's. I was glad to see that the McNuggets were on the 2 for $5 menu, making them $5 for 20 nuggets like they used to be. My last trip was for the McNuggets, as usual, and I was dismayed that they were no longer $5, button head increased to about $5.79. They still gave me 4 sauces instead of 3, even though they are supposed to charge for any extra packs of sauce above the 3 for 20 nuggets. 3 is just not enough. I am a pain about asking that they cook the nuggets and the fries fresh, and they generally seem to do that. Otherwise I bringing the Nuggets home and pop them in the toaster oven for about 7 or 8 minutes at 375° and the nuggets taste almost as good as they do fresh from their fryer, but do tend to be slightly drier. It's hard to recover the french fries if they are not fresh. Reheating them does not do the trick. French fries are not supposed to be used if they are over about 5 to 7 minutes old, but we all know they rarely abide by that rule. This McDonald's is apparently managed by a manager that seems to try to keep things the way they are supposed to be, and that makes it a pleasant visit with good food. I have no issue going back to this location at any time when I get that craving for those chicken nuggets. I think they are far better than most of the other fast food joints with the exception of Chick-fil-A, who's nuggets are definitely a bit better but they are pretty proud of them cost-wise. We...
