Subway — Restaurant in Spring Lake

Went here yesterday and the female manager was literally running circles around the poor boy working to do our subs while she was doing take out window orders. It took forever to fill our order and by "forever" I mean it took us a good 15 minutes to get our sandwiches for multiple reasons and we were the only ones inside. Every time I go I ask for a soup bowl of pickles on the side which has never been an issue I'm even willing to pay a dollar and have them ring it up as a bag of chips which has been done before and I verbalized, but what's the difference in wanting it separate from my sandwhich and having it on it? Anyways, so the boy goes to the back for soup bowls for a side of meat balls i had asked for which they are out of, and the manager follows him, he comes back a good 3-4 minutes later to tell me the little black cup that holds all of five pickles is all his manager will let me have, mind you this female manager refused to come back to the front to tell me or explain why when I asked. So I just went with it its one thing and I'd never been to this location before. Then we went to pay and get our cookies with our meals.... they only had 2 types of cookies that they could give us four of had 0 chocolate chip and 2 white macadamia nut. Which made me wonder what they had been doing with 0 customers in the store, my guess playing on their phones. We go to get our drinks and half the sodas are out of syrup, there are are no napkins in sight or forks and only one straw in the container. So I get to go stand back by the counter and wait for someone to notice my existence which took several more minutes AND me talking across the store to my friend about standing there. We also looked around as sitting there and most of the tables had crumbs and food debris left on them and there was even a bottle on one of them, my manager would have kicked my rear end if I had no customers and a bunch of dirty tables but was no where to be found. Once I finally got to enjoy my sub it was good, but you need to reevaluate your management at this location and maybe your cleaning and...

I wouldn't give this place one star if that was an option. Food is rarely fresh meats don't look so good 99% of the time and it has made me sick when I've eaten here only ate here a couple times but I've always regreted it. I tried to give it another chance but today I seen meat called Capicola with black mold on it and no it wasn't the black pepper flakes in it either just gross 🤢 And the veggie patties always look like they are weeks old and the tomatoes green peppers and onions are never cut the right way. Bread and cookies never look fresh, bread is either too small or not cooked all the way or burnt and cookies are either too hard under baked or look like little cakes. And don't even get me started on the nats everywhere and in the food and almost no employees wash their hands only like three of them do 🤢 I come sometimes just to observe also and to see if anything has changed but sadly not and the manager has been in there a few of the like 8 times I've been there and I heard her talking to the employees and she is so rude to them and yells at them I wouldn't let anyone I know work here ever. And most of the employees are always nice but there is a few that's not the two little short ladies are my favorite and a couple others but manly them two are. I tend to overlook it when a place gets like one or two things wrong with my order but the service I experienced must be chronicled. Firstly, I used the drive through and there were about three cars ahead of me but, it may as well have been 10 because the line was moving so slow I was able to leisurely watch videos on my phone as if i was parked in a lot or something. Secondly, I make it a major point to speak clear and concise at the kiosk yet they still manage to get my order wrong even with all the extra time they have making the food.Thirdly, all the things wrong with my sandwich: sandwich was cold (asked for toasted), overabundance of pickles and jalapenos, they put thousand island dressing instead of mayonnaise, neglected to put olive oil, put a measly amount of Parmesan cheese, did not cut my sandwich in half ( had to do it myself) and, the pickles were hastily put in a clump which i also had to separate. lastly the server at the window did not have his mask on correctly, if you can help it skip this...
